Love Jimmy’s Egg! Always good service and fresh delicious food.
We come here all the time but the manager has changed and the quality has gone way down!! FYI it’s Saturday and they ran out of sausage gravy and they no longer know how to make a club sandwich. Sausage patties were burnt beyond beef jerky. We don’t recognize anyone in here anymore and this was our Saturday spot every Saturday forever! Sad. But other spots in Lubbock offer weekend brunch. Time to find another spot.
Do not sleep on this place! The food was amazing, portions are super generous and the prices are great! Restaurant was super clean and probably some of the best service I’ve ever had in Lubbock. Bianca was awesome!!! We will definitely be back! Thanks y’all!!

Based on the reviews, Jimmy's Egg is a HOPPIN' place with amazing, consistent food and personalized service. It offers a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a blast to the past, with coffee mugs and an amazing service with a personalized greeting. Great cooks really know how to deliver consistency. For breakfast, customers recommend the chorizo and egg taco plate and the Biscuits Gone Wild, which have amazing flavors, good gravy, and eggs cooked well with huge portions. The waitresses are very nice and helpful, and there is plenty of parking. Prices are great, and the service is just right. However, during peak times for breakfast or lunch, it is going to be BUSY with wait times that can vary, and the entrance is also an exit which gets pretty wild. Also, the music is ALL over the place, going from a Disney soundtrack to hardcore techno rap, and would be better with just country music turned down by 10%.
