The Nicolett offers a great dining experience with delicious food. The fry bread and charcuterie tray with duck pastrami were standout dishes, while the guitar pasta and lavender brioche emerged as highlights during recent visits. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. The service is fantastic, with attentive staff who provide helpful recommendations. The food was very unique and creative, with a lot of personality, and the staff was helpful, well dressed, and attentive—some of the best service in the Texas Panhandle. The agnolotti was probably the favorite dish, but all the dishes were great, including the desert salad, brisket lamb, antelope, and Yuca fries. Cocktails and desserts like buttermilk pie and kakawa drink were enjoyable. Portions are well-sized, making the experience satisfying without feeling overdone. The food is flavorful and thoughtfully prepared without being too heavy, providing a balance that leaves guests full but not queasy. The Chef is a James Beard Finalist, adding to the restaurant’s reputation. Overall, The Nicolett is a treasure in the community, worth every penny for its artistry and vibrant atmosphere. Parking options are limited, so guests should check before arriving.
