The Nicolett offers a great dining experience with delicious food. The fry bread and charcuterie tray with duck pastrami were standout dishes, while the guitar pasta and lavender brioche emerged as highlights during recent visits. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. The service is fantastic, with attentive staff who provide helpful recommendations. However, some dishes were too small for the price, and certain items, like the cold flanken-ribs, did not meet expectations. The main entrees featured southwest themes, and while the antelope had great flavor, the medium-rare preparation of the thick cut was less enjoyable. Despite these shortcomings, the Agnolotti in cream sauce and dessert remained highlights. The old fashion drink was well made, and the house red wine was local and enjoyable. Overall, The Nicolett is a treasure in the community, worth every penny for the amazing Chef Finn and the vibrant atmosphere. Parking is limited, with options in the back and across the road, so guests are advised to check before arriving.
