Kocoroko Munchies is a cozy snack shop that offers a warm atmosphere and a wide variety of delicious goodies. Customers are greeted with a friendly welcome by the owner and her family, making each visit enjoyable. The menu features popular items such as the Rocket and Tacos, which many say are the best around. The shop is also known for its Charro Beans, which are considered a food group of their own. Visitors praise the shop for its cleanliness and great customer service, with staff always smiling and friendly. The mangonada is highly recommended as a perfect treat, and the birria tortas are described as huge and delicious. There are also birria egg rolls, ice cream, and watermelon agua fresca with yogurt boba available. The Quesabirrias are especially praised for being juicy, cheesy, and full of flavor, while the aguas frescas are always fresh and fruity. The snacks are noted for being creative, like the sopapilla chips with ice cream. Customers appreciate the friendly and fast service, with many mentioning the excellent beef birria tacos and mangonadas. Although some find the prices high—about $5.25 for a Quesabirria and around $50 for a meal for two—the overall experience is valued. The shop is a hidden gem in Mabank, perfect for snacks, sweet treats, or trying something different. Overall, Kocoroko Munchies is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Mexican snacks and a satisfying experience.
