I have been getting Schlotzsky's sandwiches since the 70s. Love the original. Just came from there after ordering an original. When I got home and opened it up I was very dissatisfied at the amount of meat and extras on the sandwiches. This was not up to your standard's of the past. If you are trying to save money by cutting what you are putting on your sandwiches it is going to cost you a lot more in the long run. After reading the reviews I decided to try it instead of going with my gut feeling about this place. Ordered a regular smoked turkey. By far this was probably the worst sandwich I’ve had from a schlotzsky’s ever. It was dry and not toasted at all. No flavor, no mayonnaise which is supposed to come on it, along with mushy old tomato. Which is sad because they hadn’t been open that long for the day. My sandwich was fine, but my Cinnabon was terrible. It was hard & cold - not fresh at all. I have to believe Cinnabon would be pretty disappointed they are being represented this way.
