“It was a good experience with the service and atmosphere. A couple of things that didn't work out for me was the sizzling beef dish which was so sweet. I wish I had the option of having it a little more savory and spicy. Also there were just too many cashew nuts in there. Which then reduced the quantity of beef.
The other thing has to do with the dumpling, we ordered chicken steamed and man they were so tiny. I was a little disappointed, and it was an odd number of 5 for 6 + something dollars. That's expensive dumplings. Also the soy sauce on the side could have been better without the sugar. Why is everyone obsessed with sugar. Lol. But overall, a great experience for me and family.“

“Today was a nice day and I decided to go to Mikkis for my Seniors dinner. When I arrived a staff member opened the door for me. Then the lines was not jammed. My order was placed and the staff were prompt in responding. The turkey wings are fall off the bone good. The gravy is just the right consistency. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and delicious. The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. The staff has changed to a more friendly and polite team. Always enjoy my visits here.“

The only real food critique would be the steak itself. While cooked to the right temperature, it lacked the bold flavor I was expecting from a steakhouse of this caliber. As for the service, while our server was wonderful throughout the night, I was a bit disappointed by how the birthday celebration was handled. I made sure to note it on the reservation, and when it wasn't acknowledged during our visit, I asked the hostess if they had seen the note. She confirmed they had, but then came to our table and informed the server right in front of us by saying, “they're celebrating a birthday.” This could have been handled more discreetly and professionally — it took away from what was supposed to be a special moment. Despite that hiccup, the ambiance and overall experience were enjoyable. I'd return, but I hope future special occasions are handled with a bit more care.“

Lobster raviolis after a while the richness of the sauce began to taste salty. The Brad brought to the table was mediocre. We had also ordered the artichoke and spinach dip - way too much cheese and not enough spinach. We did have ask for a wine list. We may return but it may be our back up dinner plan place to go to. The restaurant is cute and all but rather crowded and tables are rather close to each other.“

“Went on yesterday and everything was so amazing! It had been almost 10 years since my last visit. So glad I gave them another try. The ambiance is romantic and dimly lit. The smell of the brick oven was everything. The food is farm to table and fresh and tasty. The rosemary bread is freshly baked and soooooo good. Can’t wait to go back. Definitely a hidden gem.

Christina usually is our server and she is great, but she was not working that day and Savannah did a great job serving us. “I was here for lunch on Sunday 02-16-2025. It wasn't very busy, so I was seated right away. I didn't appreciate my location near the entrance to the restrooms, since there were no odors, I didn't make a fuss. My waiter Issack was very courteous and helpful. The restaurant section that I sat in appeared clean. I ordered a house salad with white vinegarett dressing. The wild west shrimp, and a house margarita. Of course I was served warm bread and butter. Everything was good, the food, service etc.
