“Today was a nice day and I decided to go to Mikkis for my Seniors dinner. When I arrived a staff member opened the door for me. Then the lines was not jammed. My order was placed and the staff were prompt in responding. The turkey wings are fall off the bone good. The gravy is just the right consistency. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and delicious. The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. The staff has changed to a more friendly and polite team. Always enjoy my visits here.“

“Gordon Street has very good food, it’s surprisingly good and cheap. We live in Downtown Houston where everything is super expensive and usually not great. Gordon streets food is always better and always 1/2 the price. When we want to unwind and sit in the peace and quiet this is one of our favorites.“

I made the reservation with Open Table & showed her that the app said I only had 1 reservation & that there is not even an option on the app to choose outside seating!! Restaurant was slow so they were able to honor my original reservation inside. This start to the lunch was concerning but the waiter & the food made up for it. Our server, Kimberly was so compassionate, kind, and respectful. She was absolutely excellent in all areas of value customer service delivery. “I heard through the grapevine that Italiano's had the best lasagna in the area.
It was made with ground beef, not Italian sausage and the sauce was uneventful. With that said, they had enough cheeses to make up for that, somewhat. (fwiw, I've been exposed to authentic Italian in multiple stages of my life - even variations).
I'm giving the place 4 stars because we had two entrees, a slice of cake for desert and non-alcoholic drinks and the bill was only $35. You can't do a whole lot better than that.
We'll be going back again.“

I had Chicken Saltimbocca which turned out to be the BEST Italian dish I’ve ever had— anywhere! The atmosphere was outstanding, the service was impeccable and this dish was mind-blowing. This is a destination dish and restaurant. Pearland is 50 miles from where I live BUT I shall return!!“
