“Decent Burgers. If you hit them at the right time they’re great cheese burgers, but sometimes they’re dry. I don’t like the fact that in lieu of mayonnaise they use cheap salad dressing. The complimentary beans are delicious! The fries are also hit or miss. Sometimes they’re great. Sometimes they’re soggy or even undercooked. I give them credit for cleaning the coke freestyle machines like they should. Most places that have those machines neglect to clean them and they taste like every flavor. Not here. The staff is super friendly, and the finding area is cozy. They also have bluebell ice cream which is a plus. I also love the fact that they play Christian music on certain days. Not 5 stars because of the inconsistency in quality.”

“We came to Marshall for the first time to take our kids to Piney Park. We Googled where to eat with our two kids and settled for pizza. To say the whole family loved it would be an understatement! The atmosphere, the food, and the service were all TOP NOTCH! The kids loved watching the chef, Areli, throw the dough in the air. He later came to the table to introduce himself and ask how our dinner was. He was wonderful! I can’t recommend them enough!”

“Today was my first visit after hearing about the place for a long time. I got the fried ribs with 2 sides and a drink, then got a side of chicken spaghetti and a piece of strawberry cake. The fried ribs and chicken spaghetti both were excellent. The ribs were super tender, and the spaghetti had chicken in pretty much every bite. The strawberry cake was the best I've ever had, without a doubt. Staff was super friendly. If you haven't already, I highly recommend you give this place a try.”

“Chick-fil-A is one of my go-to places to eat when road tripping. Stopped at this restaurant on my way home from Arkansas to Houston. The service was top tier. I wish I had caught the young lady's name that kept serving me. She was very attentive and very helpful. The food is just as good as any other Chick-fil-A. The inside was very modern, clean, and pleasing to the eye. I will definitely stop at this Chick-fil-A anytime I'm in Marshall.”

“The food is always wonderful. I try to order something new every time and in all the years I've been a patron, I've never had a bad meal. Very flavorful. The portions are big. You get less food at fast food chains and you pay more. The atmosphere is very calm. It's not crowded and you don't feel rushed when eating. My favorite thing about Peking is the customer service. Everyone is so polite and there is almost no wait for your food. Sometimes, I'm not sure what I want. I'll ask the cashier what is their favorite meal and that's what I order. When I am unsure, no one rushes me or gives me attitude about it. It's not a meal, it's an experience.”

“We love to eat at Golden Corral but wish there were more fried chicken legs . The food is really good & affordable & service staff is very friendly. Actually, we wish we could get another Golden Corral back in Carthage, Texas. Then we could go eat out more often. There is a building for sale as you are coming into Carthage from Marshall on the left. It used to be a restaurant & has plenty of parking.”

“Love coming here on satudays. Staff is friendly, everything is clean, and the portions are large. Its cost effective as you have enough for another meal when you are full. Never had any issues with their cooking either. Reminds me of eating at my grandparent house. Always stories being told which makes the place feel like home.”

“You know it's a really little little bar at a hotel of all places, the first time I saw it we weren't even going to stop until some stranger recommended it and told us that the bartender was a really nice female. He wasn't lying, she was great they have two nice pool tables which is the whole reason we went anyways she can make a great drink and everybody we've seen in that bar has just been nice as can be. I recommend this bar all day long.”

“I was in a quick business trip and I decided to pop by and give this place a try. I ordered agua de Jamaica (hibiscus flower) and shrimp and octopus cocktail and both were very delicious. The cocktail is served cold and it includes corn chips as well as saltine crackers. It had a fair portion of seafood in it and it was worth it.”

“We visit this restaurant many times a year and order take out several times. I recently place an order for shrimp Alfredo Fettuccine with Broccoli and of course taramasu. The food was excellent as always. What surprised me was the cost. I expected some higher cost, but the menu prices onli e showed my order should have been about $20.00 less than what I was charged. Since they failed to provide me with an itemized receipt I really don't know what I was charged for. They need to update their online menu and also provide itemized receipts.”

“I was fortunate to be taken there this Friday for the first time ever in order for my husband and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Every single individual there who was working that night was dedicated to their job and the right way. Even the customers were all so friendly and delightful! The drinks and food tasted sensational. The service is beyond exceptional!I loved the atmosphere and being able to play a couple of games of pool. Then, I could go outside and sit down, eat, dance, and even sing.Every Friday is karaoke night!! Then, typically, every Saturday night is when they have different live bands or people playing music up on the stag. I guarantee this is a fun, safe, and comfortable environment to be in. Definitely want to go back!!”

“As always, it was great. This Chick Fil A is located on the ETBU campus in the Ornelas student center. Best entrance is on west side of building. There is no drive thru, it is walk in only service. The hours of operation are short and sporadic because it is on a college campus. I hope they build one on Hwy 59 in Marshall soon so we don't have to jump through hoops just to get this tasty food.”

“This is my favorite pizza place. There's no place else where you can get all the pizza, pasta, salad and dessert you want for the price.

Parking: There's plenty of parking in the large parking area.”

Taco Tuesday specials every Tuesday, homemade ice cream sandwiches, Reno’s famous burgers! I could go on and on about how great I think these restaurants are, but don’t just take my word for it!!
