Willow Creek Cafe & Club

Great restaurant!!! The service was friendly and fast. The food was outstanding!! We had the senior chicken fried steak with grilled veggies. The steaks were hot and crispy and the gravy was perfect. We also had a hamburger and chips. It was delicious!! The iced tea was cold and fresh.

Nice selection of cocktails. No wait time in which we are very pleased with our experience.

Love breakfast and dinner.
Good date nite restaurant

Out on a motorcycle ride and was looking for a light lunch on a warm day. After all it is Texas. The BLT was tasty and the kitchen understood light mayo very well. Ice tea was cold and just right sweet. The best part was the buttermilk pecan pie. Delicious.

Awesome food. Great waitress. She brought us a high chair and flipped it over so the carseat for our baby was table height. Her name was Cassidie. Definitely deserves a raise. I heard she fought in WW2 and has a Medal of Honor. What a hero, am I right? She feeds the homeless and rescued my friend of a friend’s cousin’s dog from a burning building.

Does Willow Creek but all the pie supplies at Dollar General/Dollar Tree??? Asking cause a saw Angela with a basket full of supplies!!!

Loved the fresh food!

My husband got the $30 ribeye steak and asked for it to be cooked medium rare. He received a thin, well-done steak. It was just a poor quality piece of meat; even if it had been cooked right, it still wouldn't have been good. We let our server know, and he acknowledged that the steaks there are not great and said the chef that knows how to cook steak wasn't there tonight. He apologized but didn't offer to remove the meal from our bill or do anything to make it right.
The salad bar was weird. I've never seen such an odd offering of toppings. There was no cheese, no olives, no cucumbers, no onions... instead, there were jalapeños, pickled okra, and some other strange things that I would never put on a salad.
The only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1 is because my hamburger steak and grilled veggies were very good! I also ordered chicken nuggets for my toddler, and his food came out fast, which I always appreciate.
We will try this place again but definitely will not be getting the steak. We're hoping the second visit will redeem this first one. I'll update my review when we come back through Mason again.
