The ice cream isn't bad...but I felt rushed...I would have preferred to buy a pint of hill country fare ice cream I asked for rocky road and got 2 separate scoops one strawberry and chocolate with whatever came close- I'll just stick to ben&& Jerry's at least I can enjoy my favorites in the same cup with this heat.
Very nice clean location in McAllen. Nice outside seating to enjoy your creation. Teenage boy employee seemed rude and like he didn’t want to be working. He was very impatient as we decided what we wanted to order. My husband and I got the same thing, same flavor. Instead of mixing each one up separately, he put all the ingredients down for both orders out on the slab and combined it all together. Cold Stone Creamery offers excellent customer service, with staff that is polite, patient, and helpful. The manager is particularly notable for his exceptional service and insight. The ice cream is made by hand, setting it apart from other chains like Baskin Robbins. While the prices may be steep, the atmosphere is nice and the treats are worth it.
