I really love coming here when I'm in McAllen.
Great high quality food. Service is top notch. Recently sat at the bar and I have never seen two bartenders in such sync before. Was fun to watch.
We had a couple of mixology cocktails, and all I can say is WOW. Jorge, our bartender, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better. Jordan, the manager, was just as wonderful, kind, and genuinely passionate about what she does. You can truly tell she cares about creating a great experience for every guest. Highly recommend!

PRIME Steak & Seafood offers an amazing experience with great food and service. The restaurant is under new management and ownership, which has transformed the place. The remodeling is gorgeous, making the atmosphere warmly inviting, moody, and elegant. The attention to detail is a favorite, from purse stands to table service. The new cocktail list is delicious and has pictures. The food is beautifully presented, with meals like the New York strip (medium rare) cooked exactly to liking, a bone-in filet with baked potato, and delicious starter bread. Servers are friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and make guests feel welcomed. The restaurant is a perfect place for special occasions, like a birthday dinner for a group of 8, and feels like being transported somewhere else. A new happy hour menu and a NEW menu are coming soon. PRIME Steak & Seafood is recommended for locals and out-of-towners alike, and is a nice place for a quiet dinner after a long day of travel.
