Fui con mi esposa ayer por primera vez y la dueña muy amable nos recomendo flautas y tostadas la comida muy rica y la salsa Verde pa chuparse los dedos lol iremos muy pronto por los chilaquiles con su Cafe 🙏🏽
I went with my husband for the first time today. The owner was very courteous, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. She gave us a great recommendation on what to order; the flautas and tostadas did not disappoint. The salsa was perfect in spiciness, the food portion was great. Overall, I recommend this place to eat. 💥🙏🏻

Taqueria La Prieta Mamona is a great joint with amazing tacos. The trompo tacos are by far the best in the RGV. The service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere and environment are great. The owner is very courteous, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu, and gives great recommendations. The flautas and tostadas did not disappoint. The salsa is perfect in spiciness and so flavorful, and the salsa Verde is pa chuparse los dedos. The food portion is great. The chicharrones with guacamole is so good, and the choriqueso is recommended but cools down quick, so eat it fast or put it in the taco. The chilaquiles con su Cafe are worth returning for. The coffee is really good. The ambiance is cozy even though it’s outside in the blazing hot. The food is A++ and the flavor on the trompo is outstanding, with a hint of Indian flavors. The corn is some of the most flavor packed corn ever tried. They are doing huge flavors in a little space. The menu is tasty, and the trompo negro is worth trying. This pet friendly food truck has tables available for sitting and is quick to serve. Overall, this place is recommended to eat.
