“We found this restaurant on TikTok, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We drove all the way from Cypress, Texas — our first time ever visiting McKinney — and it was worth every mile. The owner came out personally to introduce himself and make sure everything was perfect, and his daughter Madison checked on us throughout the meal with the kind of genuine hospitality you rarely see anymore.
The food was incredible. The spicy lemon pepper wings with their signature chunky blue cheese were next-level — easily some of the best wings we’ve ever had. The chicken egg rolls were amazing, the crab fried rice was packed with flavor, and the lo mein was delicious. Every single dish came out piping hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Even with three of us sharing everything, the portions were so generous that we still left with leftovers.
And the little details mattered too — like the ice‑cold frosty beer mug, which hit the spot perfectly.
This place didn’t disappoint in any way: fantastic food, incredible service, friendly people, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re already trying to come up with another reason to be back in the area just so we can eat here again. A true gem.“

“We (wife and I) were at Marble Dental two doors down yesetrday and decided to check out Rice Garden for the first time. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. My wife and I had the combo with meat and chicken (opted out of the shrimp) and with jalapenos in the brown rice. Very delicious.

The meal was more than ample for us to split. We also got two small bowls of the hot and sour soup ($2.99 each) and I must say it was the best hot and sour soup I have ever tasted/eaten. Very hearty and tasty. I'm thinking about it right now. Would be nice to have a bucket of it in the refrigerator at home to get through the cold winter days and nights. :-) Definitely will be back to Rice Garden.“

“I ordered sushi, rolls, and tempura shrimp from SushiGo (McKinney) On December 31st and they accidentally forgot the tempura shrimp, but when I called, a restaurant representative personally delivered them to my home within 20 minutes. He even brought extra Coke and Sprite as an apology — shrimp were still warm and delicious, despite a 20-minute drive.

The food is always amazing. This was the first mistake ever, and the way they handled it was truly impressive. Five stars without hesitation. I will definitely keep ordering from them and recommending them to everyone.

Even after we moved far away from McKinney two years ago, and there is another SushiGo closer to us now, we still continue to order sushi and rolls specifically from the McKinney location — simply because it tastes better. Quality like this is worth the distance.“

“I ordered the pork fried rice thru door dash. It was amazing. Pork was tender and rice was perfectly spiced. Meals are usually 2 servings so you can eat half and save the other for another day. I got an egg roll . It was good but for the price you should get 2 because they are very small. No got mustard in the pack which I missed.“

“LOVE!!! I got crab rangoons and the tapan wok poke bowl. And they were both soooo good. The sweet and sour sauce that came with the rangoons was super delicious. The ingredients in the poke bowl tasted fresh and was super good. My husband got chicken lo mein. And the chicken was really good. The noodles were perfect. “My family and I have frequented this restaurant for over 15 years. We usually eat at the NorthPark location, but decided to take a chance on the Allen location for my Mom’s birthday this year. We had a large party, for which we reserved a week in advance. The food was great our server was attentive, and did a remarkable job!
The only problem with the night was when John the manager came to our table and began to take plates out of the way, at first we thought “great out of the way” then he came back again and in a rude way said “you folks need to wrap it up because we have other parties to sit”. I understand that there are more parties, but the way you approach people matters, and at the end of the night I am a paying customer, trying to enjoy a special night. Don’t rush me out.
We had arrived at 5:30pm and waited for the whole party to show. Food was served by 6:30 and by 7ish he was telling us to “wrap it up”.
My family was very disappointed with the treatment he gave us. I expressed some frustration when exiting and fortunately Kenny a manager approached me and asked what was wrong. I explained the situation to him and he made an attempt at getting John to explain himself and apologize for how he came off, but no. Kenny apologized for John since he wasn’t a big enough person to do it himself.
Anyways, this place did a great job with promoting Kenny because people like John will ruin 15 years of great experiences in a heartbeat.
Thank you Kenny for being attentive and caring. Hoping to continue to make more great memories alongside my family at this place in the future, and hoping Kenny is there or moves on up the ladder! Can’t say much for John though.“

Initially I was skeptical because of the variety of cuisines on a single menu, but i was pleasantly surprised with the food. It's obviously not gourmet, but everything we ordered was made well. Nothing was overly greasy, there were no offensive tastes or smells, and there was plenty of food for what we paid. The interior absolutely needs a lift, but I feel that the majority of this establishment's orders are take-out/delivery so it isn't a priority for them.“
