Freddy's Reviews
We were happy to find a Freddie’s being from OKla in McKinney! Where is the manager here. I have read nothing but bad reviews! Horrible service, burgers put together sloppy, fries cold and tiny things! Just about everyone in there had a complaint! Oh and the Sundae… they were out of vanilla. So chocolate it was, very little of it, no nuts and ice cream was all over the outside of the cup! There needs to be some training there and an adult supervisor!! It won’t last long...read full review
Have to edit my review after a recent visit. they had the WORST customer service I have ever received anywhere before. I guess their employees that had the amazing customer service are no longer there. They still have great food, but the service is horrible. Not worth the 35 - 45 minute drive my family would make to go eat here frequently.
I no longer recommend this place anymore.

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers offers a classic feel with really good burgers and great fries, reminiscent of Steak n Shake. The service is friendly, with staff members like Presley being helpful and kind. While the cheese curds are fantastic and the fried cheese curds were noted as good, some customers have experienced issues with their orders, such as getting dry burger patties that were too large for the bun. The chocolate custard is a must-try, although some customers mentioned concerns about the cleanliness of the ice cream machine and the overall atmosphere smelling greasy. The food comes out quickly, leading to speculation that some items may be pre-cooked. With ample parking space, it's a decent spot for a meal under $20 for two people. The cost of signature desserts, like the concrete, was considered steep by some, but the hotdog with grilled onions, mustard, and jalapenos was described as phenomenal. Consider take-out if preferred.
