“My grandma ordered a brisket and potato salad for Christmas Eve and it was delicious! Thank you Tanks BBQ for catering our Christmas Eve meal. 100% recommend if you plan to eat a non traditional Christmas lunch or dinner!! You won’t be disappointed!“

“I am picky about barbecue, and The Half Acre is the rare place that feels like it is serving competition-level BBQ every single day. The quality is consistently world class, not just when you catch them on a good day.
What really stands out is how they pair that level of execution with real value. The portions are generous, and the pricing stays surprisingly affordable for what you are getting.
My wife doesn’t even like BBQ that much, and she still asks to come back here often… for the BBQ.“

“I love this place. It is a cafeteria style barbecue place. Food was wonderful. I told the person helping me this is my first time, and she was very, very patient and explained the entire menu in process. And actually, it's pretty reasonable for a barbecue place. 1/2 lb of Brisquef is only $9.95. I would highly recommend this place. And I cannot wait to go back again.“

“I was recommended to the HEB BBQ by local hotel and it did not disappoint! The service from Rhonda at the front counter was fantastic and she laid out exactly what I should get as someone who is not from Texas. The prices were also so much better than other spots around town. I look forward to returning in the future and seeing my new friend Rhonda!!“

“Let me say something about customer service. Mac’s BAR-B-Q in Midland,Tx I was sitting in the hotel, wanting bbq, saw Mac’s menu, but one site they were closed Saturday and Sundays. Another said they were open Saturday. I decided to give them a call, if no one answers, I know they are closed. Well, the owner answered, said they were closed for a private party, then he asked if it was just me…. “Come on over, come to the side door to the kitchen and I’ll make you a plate.” The best bbq and definitely the best customer service.“

“Drive thru was empty kind of slow! ?But I was hungry so is all good! ? is not clear but the guy at the window Got Us!!! Cool ? gentleman!! Only order a quick LB of pull pork and is Good! The spicy ?️ barbecue ? sauce is lit ?! And I know sauce! Price not bad competes with HEB!“

“We had a group of about 14 to go in for dinner on a sunday. We were accommodated quite well as they put together several tables to seat us all. Our server did a good job taking care of us as it took a bit to get all our orders in and handle our specific check requests. A couple of people were not quite happy with their meal. One said their steak wasn't prepared the way they ordered and the potato was cold. The other said their chicken was over cooked. My steak was a little tougher than I like, but was actually very flavorful. Overall I'd say it wasn't a bad experience.“

“Great food! Vegan menu. And so delicious 😋! Breakfast all day. Brisket juicy, tender and with great seasoning. Locally owned ! Not vegan first picture it's only 5.99 for seniors. It has potato salad, beans, brisket, pickles, bread. Delicious and for that price! 2nd picture Vegan loaded nachos. Lots of flavor and BIG!“
