Cork & Pig Tavern Reviews
The San Angelo location is fantastic but I sadly can’t say the same about this one. The food was horrible. The service was awful.
You cannot ever get in to eat and that is ridiculous. They tell you to walk in for what because you are told it could be an hour. They tell you to just wait.
Had the worst dining experience ever, on Mother’s Day of all days. We were sat and a waitress came to get our drink and appetizer order. 30 minutes later she comes back informing us she “lost her paper” and we needed to reorder. Our original order also included our two year olds food so she wouldn’t have to wait. Another 30-40 minutes pass and we still have NOTHING and she blames it on the kitchen staff, bar staff and because they have reservations. Hello you’re a restaurant...read full review

The Cork & Pig Tavern offers a mix of decent and overpriced food, but the secret cornbread and patio are standout features. The service is attentive, with friendly staff, and the atmosphere, though noisy, provides a relaxing environment. Recent customer reviews highlight the outstanding service, with one customer praising the waitress for her exceptional care and attention to detail. The Brick fire chicken on a bed of mashed potatoes with a bourbon sauce is a particularly praised dish, and the duo dip is also a favorite. While the portion sizes have decreased over the years, the overall dining experience is considered worth the money spent, and customers express their intention to return.
