Cracker Barrel Reviews
Over a couple of visits, food was average, portions small. Most of the the food was lukewarm. The service was inconsistent.
Not really the server's fault here - back of the house problem - the time it took to get food, bill, etc. was an hour - on a breakfast on a weekday at when wasn't crowded. It's not like we lingered over the food. By the time we got the food - it was just eat it and get the heck out of there.
Chadrick was awesome and the food was great ! If you come around Midland Texas give them a try and ask for Chadrick. Where do I select 5 stars!!!!
The food is grrreat! We go here quite a bit & love going each time.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store offers a mixed experience. The staff is friendly, but the service can be slow, especially during busy times. The atmosphere is generally good, and the inside store is enjoyable for shopping. Some guests noted that seating can be crowded and that there are occasional delays in receiving food. The food quality varies; some items may be warm but not hot, and the flavor of certain dishes, like the chicken and dumplings, may be lacking or not meet expectations. Breakfast remains a popular choice, with some visitors finding it amazing and hitting the spot, especially when visiting with family or toddlers. However, issues such as unclean floors, lack of communication during server changes, and unbussed tables have been mentioned. Despite these concerns, many guests still enjoy their visits and plan to return, appreciating the overall atmosphere and prompt service when it works well. The store inside provides a pleasant shopping experience, and being a rewards member can offer some benefits.
