We love this place! We celebrated my son’s 10th birthday here today (9th bday last year, too). Always great food and service.
We have been there many times now. The food is always so very fresh and our server was exceptional! The prices are good for a quality Japanese like this! I suggest checking it out if you're in Midland! ❤

Hayashi Japanese Steakhouse offers good food and a great atmosphere, perfect for families and date nights. The hibachi cooks provide an entertaining show, and the servers are attentive, refilling glasses before they are half empty. The menu includes dishes like hibachi chicken and chicken teriyaki, with generous portions. The food is amazing and flavorful, and the portions are very much worth the money. Everything ordered — edamame, egg rolls, steak, shrimp, lobster, and more — has been good. The crab ragoon is also excellent. The hibachi experience is fun, with one chef's food being preferred by some adults. The Big Spring roll with cooked steak is a standout, described as "so freaking amazing." Service is attentive without hovering, and parking can be limited if arriving late. Despite not being in town, many find themselves returning for the delicious food and lively atmosphere. Hayashi Japanese Steakhouse is a highly recommended dining spot.
