Can’t believe this place is still open
Came in at lunch and ordered a 16oz ribeye. The steak was seasoned well and cooked exactly like I ordered it (medium rare). The grilled asparagus was cooked perfect for my liking. Bartender/Server Alex stayed busy but always checked to see if I needed anything. Hard worker and that's rare. Clean place with a chill atmosphere. I've seen a few not so great reviews but here's mine. I wouldn't sleep on this restaurant. I will come back the next time I'm in town.
Not impressed at all. My Filet was okay. Shrimp was over cooked. My husbands steak was discounted after 3 attempts to get it cooked properly. It was still too rare and "tough as a boot. " "have had a better steak at waffle house". ☹️

BOVINE offers flavorful food with popular dishes like phenomenal mac and cheese, tender steak fingers, and delicious sirloin and chicken fried steak. The atmosphere is cozy but a bit cramped inside. The restaurant provides friendly and attentive service, with a staff that is busy yet welcoming. While there may be some inconsistencies with steak portions and cooking, the overall quality remains good. The Pittsburgh med rare bone in ribeye has received praise, and though some nights baked potatoes may run out early, the chicken fried steak is often hot and tasty, though a little salty. BOVINE is a great casual steakhouse with a pub feel, perfect for quick dates or casual meals. The bar service is also well done, adding to the inviting vibe. Chef's ownership ensures consistent quality, making it a popular spot for regular visitors. The sweet and spicy appetizer is highly recommended, and guests can expect delicious food and solid drinks.
