“Highly recommended wedding and event bakery! I didn’t think I’d enjoy cake tasting until I went with my then fiancé to pick a cake for our wedding. From setting up the appointment to being there making the selections then the follow through by Cakes by Gina, we were impressed and well taken care of from beginning to end. The staff is friendly and eager to make your vision come true. All the various samples along with champagne, it was truly a very good experience. The cost was reasonable and the cake in the end was better than even the sample. Getting there was a bit painful only because we came from the opposite side of town. Cake delivery to the venue happened without an issue. Overall, probably our favorite vendor through this experience. “These are by far the best cupcakes in Houston! First of all the shop is adorable and the people are always so nice! Now for the cupcakes! I am a chocolate girl so two of my favorites are chocolate base. They are soft and moist and melt in your mouth. My top favorite is the chocolate vanilla bean. The chocolate cake is so luscious and the thin topping of silky vanilla butter cream melts in your mouth. The real star of this cupcake is that they take the icing and smoosh it into light blue sugar crystals! This gives the cupcake that added sweetness and texture. It’s just so good!!!!!!!! This is a must try! My second favorite is the strawberry truffle! Who doesn’t love strawberry and chocolate? This cupcake is the perfect combination. The luscious chocolate cake topped with fresh strawberry buttercream. You can see the pieces of real strawberries in the icing! I also highly recommend trying their daily fun flavors. Recently we had the bananas foster( so incredible , filled with a Carmel and topped with a piece of dried banana ) and the lemon blueberry pie( so refreshing and comforting) Seriously you will not be disappointed if you try these cupcakes! We drive all the way from spring to get them!“

“These cupcakes are my favorite when I visit Houston. Last time I visited the Mardi Gras cupcake was featured and it was one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. I've never been disappointed with my choices here. You can't go wrong with your selection.“

“Best bakery that I've visited in Houston out of eight. Perfect fresh petit fours which which should be a must in bakeries but seemingly lacking in HTX bakeries, perfect apple strudel. “I was craving a red velvet cupcake today and I definitely found the best place , the frosting on their red velvet cupcakes is so soft and creamy it was definitely amazing ! The filling was soft but not too sweet! Definitely going back again soon, the ambiance was quiet and they have chairs and tables to enjoy cupcakes or coffee in a nice quiet ambiance , the service was definitely outstanding , they also have reserved parking specially for the costumers , overall I definitely give it 5 stars and I'll go back again .“
