“Great restaurant,
Came in at 8:30, and the chef and staff still warmly welcomed us in, and even gave 3 jelly desserts on the house!
Lamb noodle soup was really good, solid lamb flavor without being too overwhelming
It was also a lot of food, and a balanced amount of lamb as well
Cucumber side dish was also really good, there’s almost a flavor of peppercorn but no numbness of it
Crispy chicken (5 on the snack section), was really good the skin was crispy
Good food here and felt very welcomed

“Not Just some pho. Try the soft shell crab, fresh and crunchy. I don't see this dish in other pho places.
The pho was good and reasonably priced. The combination with a short rib is only $15. The pho portion size was more than enough four me.
My wife ordered the vermicelli with grilled chicken. The chicken was seasoned with a dry rub. We prefer the wet marinade style.
We'll be back. There's a couple of others dishes i don't see often and would to try. Not Just pho.“

“Best dang pho I’ve ever had in Houston I gotta say which was odd cause I didn’t expect it to be in this area where less viet ppl live but mannnnn highly recommend and their summer rolls were good too but phew I could go on all day about their pho. Only thing is it was pretty basic nothing crazy special but also note they will give you extra bean sprouts if you ask free of charge unlike wha the menu says that extra veggies cost money if you ask only bean sprouts a little more I think they’re more lenient has“

“The Premium Seafood Pasta and Short Rib Yukgaejang were both so satisfying and flavorful! Rich, creamy, and with just the right amount of spice — definitely a heavier comfort meal, but so worth it when you’re craving Korean noodles and soup. Their banchan is always amazing too. I especially love their kimchi and would honestly buy a jar just to take home. Nice ambiance and plenty of parking!“

“Fabulous beef noodle soup. Meat was tender with lean and fatty pieces. Beef was not gamey. Noodles were al dente. Broth was clean, but could’ve been a bit richer for another level of deliciousness. (if you’re Vietnamese, it’s like BBH without the oily lemongrass broth). Fried egg was interesting. It didn’t really add to the flavors but was a nice treat. Only vegetables was broccoli. Probably better with Chinese broccoli or some other ask greens. Overall, nice bowl of noodle soup for $11.99. Generous portion. Free hot tea and self service utensils.“

“Holy moly. This is by far the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in Houston. Houston has very good Chinese food but dang this place just knocks it out the park. The service was wonderful….all the waitresses were super nice and helpful. It was our first time there and this will definitely be our first stop to Houston. We were lucky to be able to snag a raw marinated shrimp before they ran out. And it did not disappoint. Sad we couldn’t try everything though.“

“This was our first time eating here. It was a wonderful experience! Owner was so nice, the food was fresh, hot, and beautifully presented. We ordered Kung Pao shrimp, black pepper chicken, vegetable egg roll, chicken egg roll, wonton soup. All were really delicious. Shaken beef, teriyaki chicken, and the vegetables were nice also. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. Nice background music and easy to converse at the table. Highly recommend this place for dine-in or takeout. We would order everything again and will look forward to trying other dishes! Thank you for offering such great food and atmosphere. We highly recommend this place.“

“Stopped in on a cool Friday night evening, craving some Pho. I ended up ordering the Infernal Chicken Curry. I’m so glad I did! The flavor was on point and I found myself trying to scoop the last drop from the bottom of the bowl. Scott was an excellent in taking care of us. The restaraunt feels welcoming and alive with conversation. I’ll definitely be stopping in again when I’m in the area.“

“First of all, I want to mention that I was born and raised in Houston, with Latino roots. I've been looking to try something new, so I've been hopping from one restaurant to another in search of a hidden gem. I found this restaurant on Maps and decided to give it a try, despite not knowing anything about the cuisine or the language. But that didn’t stop me from wanting to enjoy lunch.
As soon as I arrived, I knew I had found the right place because it had an old-fashioned look, which usually signals great food. When it came time to order, I was making guesses based on the pictures, as most of the menu was in Chinese. I decided to order something called braised octopus because it looked good in the image. However, the server asked me several times if I was sure about my choice. They tried to explain why it might not be a good idea, but their accent made it hard to understand. Ultimately, I decided to go with something else because I felt like only people who are familiar with the cuisine truly know how to appreciate it.
This is not a bad review—the food was actually delicious, and the flavors were on point. I might go back, but I chose to eat in my car because I didn't want to feel out of place, especially since it’s an Asian-centered establishment and I only speak Spanish and English. If any friends want to join me on another visit and can help me better understand the culture, I would love that!“

“I had a great experience at Dough Zone! The food came out super fast, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our server did a wonderful job explaining the menu and making recommendations, which really helped since there were so many good options to choose from.
I had the chicken soup, dumplings, sweet-and-sour cucumber, and chili oil wontons, and everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. You can really tell they put care into every dish. I will definitely be back!“

“If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this place is an absolute standout. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a great dining experience. The aroma of fresh herbs, simmering broths, and grilled meats immediately lets you know you’re in for something special.
The pho is the star of the menu—rich, deeply flavorful broth that tastes like it’s been simmering for hours, paired with tender cuts of meat and perfectly cooked noodles. The banh mi is equally impressive, with a crisp, airy baguette filled with savory proteins, pickled vegetables, and just the right amount of heat and freshness. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and beautifully balanced.
Service is attentive without being overbearing, and the staff is happy to offer recommendations if you’re unsure what to try. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the quality is consistently high.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of Vietnamese food or trying it for the first time, this restaurant delivers an experience that’s both comforting and memorable. It’s the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to.“

“Orient cafe is usually consistent, good egg rolls, the best wonton soup, and most of the menu is really good. My favorites are chicken with string beans, chicken or shrimp fried rice, and orange chicken.
Although today we had, and I tried the orange beef, orange chicken (don’t mind the quantity, starting eating before I could take the pic😅) and wonton soup.“
