“Rakken ramen is one of my go-tos for ramen as they're healthy and fast. Not your typical ramen as they use a vegetable broth, which is equally as delicious as a regular pork broth! Our server, Yaya, was attentive and provided great service today! Thank you!“

“The shrimp and pork eggroll appetizer was fantastic. The perfect crunch and flavors made it very special. B1 and P2 soups are unforgettable. The pho broth is truly one of the best phos I've ever had. The garlic shrimp noodle is also very tasty. The noodles are perfectly cooked and flavored. My 4 year old loved it. My kids also enjoyed the fried catfish too. We will come back. What a gem of a restaurant!“

“This place is awesome!!! The place was clean and staffs are kind. Pho was flavorful and delicious. There were a lot of meats in the pho. Their appetizers were great. Particularly, their spring roll was legit! I went Vietnam and ate spring-roll at there. It was great, too. However, this spring-roll was better than the real Vietnam's spring-roll. I will definitely come here again. ?“

“This was on my to-try list and it did not disappoint. Came in with some friends during lunch on a Tuesday and it was slow and quiet. The restaurant is spacious and bright inside. The waitstaff mainly speaks Chinese, but there are tablets you can order from on the tables. I got the beef brisket tomato noodle soup which was really good. The brisket was soft and super flavorful and the soup was tomato-y but did not taste like V8. I added in some of the chili oil and sambal that is provided at the tables and they enhanced the flavor of the soup even more. The bowl is also super large with lots of noodles and vegetables inside, so it was super filling (might even be shareable if you have a small appetite). I tried some of my friend's fish (same soup) and it was super tender and incredibly flavorful--I liked it more than the beef that I had gotten. We also got the brown sugar rice cake which was okay. It was crispy on the outside, but not that chewy. And there was a brown sugar filling on the inside which was super liquid-y and came out hot. The filling did taste a tad medicinal which I did not dislike, but did not like either. Overall, a great experience, will be returning!“

“I’m writing this review a little late. I went in In December with my sister and her friends and tried their broth noodles. We each loved our own choice of soup. I got the ‘kakuni’ it has a salty taste to it which I like when paired with the noodles. My sister got the ‘Niku niku’ this has a flavorful broth. It reminded me a lot of the Vietnamese pho. When I came back with my friends after January I got the ‘mentako cream’ (I think I spelled that wrong) with katsu. I liked the cold noodles, but the noodles weren’t very filling (I could have just been really hungry). The broths were more filling and are still my favorite.“

“The food was fresh and hot plus the service was excellent too. This will be our togo Thai restaurant moving forward. Don't miss their delicious Cream Brulee!Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options available. Usually we dont see veg options in the appetizers and soups section but they have it all here.“

“I can't believe I still haven't wrote a review for Pho Sapa yet. This place is amazing, every time I was there, it is satisfying. The restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, their english is not very good but trying very hard to help you with your questions about food knowledge. My favorite dish is the big beef bone, I think it is a side dish which is about $5, it came in a huge bowl full of big big beef bones. The bones are flavorful, has good amount of meat on it and easy to peel off. I can never finish it and always bring it back to my dog. And my dog loves it too. Their signature item was the dry pho with soup on the side, it came with the special sauce to mix with the dry noodle, side veggies to make the dish more fulfilling.Pho is always great, their soup is clear, definitely brewed a long time not so much MSG taste in it because I don't have to drink so much water afterwards.Price is fair, very good place to have a nice inexpensive lunch or light dinner. Might have to go there early since they do run out of soup.Highly recommended.“

“Atmosphere is great , service was simple and fast , food was fresh and hot , it’s great for a short lunch or a night with friends. Totally recommend, what made it outstand was the price for the freshness and quality of food, it’s totally worth it for its price. They also offer deals and combos when dine in.“

“Ever since this place took over for new management, it is so much better. I ain’t here over a decade before and it was very bland. I got to meet the owner Johnny and he was super sweet and only that the food was delicious. You have to try the Pad Thai noodles and chicken egg rolls“

I also took out the frozen pearl meatballs, pork with vegetable buns, Siu-Mai and pan fried chive buns. The cashier/owner was very friendly and helpful.Parking: It may be difficult to find the parking the most close to the restaurant. You can still find the parking a bit far away from the restaurant.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. There was quite a few tasty dishes.1. Fried crispy pork. This was tasty with a nice crispy outside and soft tender inside. Pork flavors come through and it’s nicely flavored.2. Fish and pickled cabbage noodle soup: the soup is mildly flavored, the fish is silky and pickled cabbage slightly tart. It’s not bad but I prefer it more tart.3. Beef belly hot pot noodle soup. This is quite good with strong flavors in the soup. Tried with medium spice and it wasn’t too spicy.4. Wonton soup: the soup is mild but the wontons are good. You can taste the seasoning and meat when you bite into them. Most wontons are tasteless but not these ones. Would eat these again.5. Soft tofu with red bean is really good. Sauce is like a caramelized taste with mung bean powder. Very tasty.Overall, a decent restaurant and worth making this a staple for those that enjoy noodle soups.“

“I came back for another visit and got the beef chow fun to-go and the service was phenomenal. The portion was a good size like when I dined in as well as being hot and delicious. I called in and was told the food would be ready in 5 minutes, which was so quick compared to other places I've ordered from. When I went in, the restaurant did not look that busy so that may have been why but regardless I appreciated how quick everything was.“

“This is honestly one of my top ramen places that I've tried in Houston. I had heard that the ramen here is very authentic, so I had to try it out for myself. I came here on a week night for dinner, and unfortunately, they were a bit understaffed. There appeared to be only one server for all of the tables, so it did take a while for him to take our order. I'm writing this review a few months later from when I tried this restaurant, so I hope that has changed now. He was very friendly though. I tried the tonkotsu gachi ramen. It was VERY delicious and flavorful. It didn't feel overly heavy like some other ramen places that I've tried. I can say that this does taste pretty authentic. I like the location of this place too because I live around here, and it's easy access for people around the medical center to go to. I hope this place stays here for a while! I would absolutely come back.“

“If you want authentic Chinese food look no further. One of my biggest pet peeves with Chinese food in the states is the overly greasy and salty dishes. You won’t run into that here. The ingredients are fresh, the food is light and wholesome that comes in very generous portions. We will definitely be back!“

“The food is good. Waiting time is about 10 minutes for 3 dishes. It's acceptable. I don't like the table and chairs there. They're so close to each other. The space shares the common ground of the Hong Kong market. It prevents your privacy. The food is contained in boxes except the soups. I think I will not come back unless I need convenience when I am shopping in the Hong Kong market. The price is a little bit high in comparison with the service I received, but it's acceptable. You should come and try once.“

“First time here - ordered spring rolls for our appetizer, green curry, cashew nut with shrimp and the pad se ew noddles. The spring rolls order only comes with 4 but worth it. “Hidden gems at the corner and need to be shout out guys!!I have tried multiple times just to explore everything on their menu lol according to the owner, this is a big franchise in Korea and California and they're very first location in Texas.Their signature is Galbi Jim (spicy braised beef rib) and Bossam (premium boiled pork belly wraps), dumplings, noodles and other hot pots are so good.In the beginning, i thought it's expensive since the price on the menu, so I just stopped by to try cold noodle and the original Yukdaejang noodle but i ended up was surprised by the bowl is biggg and i saw the hotpot of another table is huge! So..yeah i came back with my friends and tried several things again and again lolSmall menu, consistent tastes, big portion, and great service. What else are you looking for right? “I feel lucky to live so close to Mama's Kitchen, definitely a comfort food spot for me. I love the spicy chicken cube dish, and all the stir fry vegetable dishes. Food comes out super quick too! Large portions which is normal for Sichuan cuisine, so it's nice to dine with a large group. But I don't mind the leftovers either when it's just 2 or 3 of us. I've also had the boiled fish, cumin lamb, dan dan noodles - they were all very good. Need to try new items next time, but it's hard when I already have favorites If you like spicy food, definitely recommend. If spicy is not your thing, try their fried rice with shrimp. “This is the best porridge I have ever eaten in the United States. I am from Shunde, Guangdong, and grew up eating porridge. The porridge here is made with real ingredients and no MSG. The braised meat is also delicious, and the pig intestines are very clean. I will recommend this restaurant every time I go to Houston! I think the braised pig's trotters are average, it's not that they taste bad, and the hair on pig's trotters here in the United States is usually not plucked lol“

“I can’t believe I’ve never been to this place before. We can in for dinner past 8pm and it was still packed! We didn’t have to wait long for a table, just got seated within minutes of walking in. We ordered pho, vermicelli bowl and a banh mi. The broth was very very good, noodles had a slippery texture and meat seemed fresh! Not too crazy about the banh mi but the pho and vermicelli bowl made up for it. Service was awesome, food came out quick. “I’ve been to this place several times and they never disappoint. I’ve gotten various items, but with this trip, I got the tonkotsu ramen. “The food is always amazing! I don't eat pork, but my fiance does and they love the pork dishes! I love the beef and chicken dishes. “Brought the family here for a late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday. Overall a wonderful experience. The atmosphere different. There are four different types of seating. Open seating, bar, the multi-level honeycomb tables, and individual private table. We were seated in one of the curtained tables. I really liked being separated from the open area. It filled some of the noise and allowed the family to focus on each other. We ordered Takoyaki octopus balls and pan fried gyoza dumplings as appetizers. The Takoyaki had great flavor. The only negative I could say about the whole meal would be the octopus was chewy. That is no big deal, sometimes it just is. The dumplings were great. I ordered the Omurice with pork tonkatsu. Comes with rice with a runny omelet on top. They usually serve it with a sauce, but could not decide which one I wanted. I went ahead and had both the demi glace and curry sauces on the side. An “Amazing Lemonade” to drink. All had great flavor. I’ve been wanting to try this dish for a while and glad a restaurant does a good job at it in the Houston area. I cannot remember the name of the meal my wife ordered. It was a teriyaki beef burger with rice buns. It came with a side of fries purple sweet potatoes. I believe it is on a special menu, so it may not be available if you go. Both were delicious. I stole a bunch of her fries. My some ordered the Japanese curry ramen combo with Thai iced tea. My daughter ordered The Mega combo also with a Thai iced tea. Again, the ramen were perfect. I am not a fan of Thai tea. To me it usually has too much cinnamon to me, but I really liked theirs. All of our meals came with a steamed pork bao bun. My wife hates pork, especially pork belly, but she ate the whole thing. For dessert we shared one Japanese Cherry Blossom Jelly since we were all stuffed. It was a light and refreshing end to the meal. Overall the food is fantastic and all that was a little over $100. A pretty good deal that stuffed four grown adults. Glad this place is over an hour drive from the house or I would be tempted to eat here all the time.Parking: The shopping center has a bunch of businesses that fill up the parking spots. Had to circle a few times waiting for a space to free up.“

“So happy to have found this place via a recent recommendation who raved about their dumplings & kalguksu (Korean noodles in hot soup). My wife & I ordered the 2 hot soups & dumpling combo (which offers a $4 saving) and my son ordered the galbi (Korean BBQ shortribs). The food was on point in terms of genuine Korean food taste & the portion size was pretty decent at a reasonable price in this day & age. I also enjoyed the kimchi that was served as a side dish so much that we took the leftovers in a to-go box! I would definitely like to return to try the other menu items!“

“This is the place to go to for Thai food in Energy Corridor. Love that this place closes late! Very authentic... they don't skimp on the Thai chili peppers here. I loved the grilled sausage. Smoky, spicy and delicious. Pairs well with the peanuts, ginger, and Thai chilis... all of my favorite toppings. We ordered sticky rice to eat with the sausage and it was a great combo. I always judge a Thai restaurant by how good their som tum is and theirs didn't disappoint! There was a good amount of shredded papaya, and the sauce was spicy and tangy! Loved the tomatoes and cabbage as well. Pad see ew was solid. I tried golden pampano for the first time and it was so good. Crispy but not too greasy. Plenty of fish meat so we weren't just getting bones. The seafood sauce was new to me but I loved it with the fish! Servers here are great. Cute decor inside and out. So happy to have a great Thai restaurant close to my area.“

“On Friday afternoon, I brought my wife back to eat at this restaurant. The food was delicious last time so I came back. This time I was a bit disappointed. The taste was still good but the broth was too cold. When it's cold, I like to eat hot food but the bowl of chicken noodle soup was cold. In my order, I asked for extra bean sprouts. When I brought it out, the bean sprouts were already put in both my bowl and my wife's bowl, so it was more appropriate to put them on separate plates for everyone to eat and pick up for themselves. My wife's and my ice water glasses both had no ice, weren't cold enough, my bowl had a large chip on it, my wife's bowl had a smaller chip. I think if the bowls use coffee sticks, are the ingredients of good quality? I don't know this. The staff serving the bowl held his thumb in the bowl. I don't know if his thumb touched the broth, but it felt a bit disgusting. The bowl should be brought out using a tray or cart. In general, the taste is good, but it's too cold and not delicious, 5/10, the service is 3/10. Next week I'll try again and edit the review later, contributing my personal opinion. I still like this restaurant. I hope it improves and becomes better so that Vietnamese cuisine can be loved and spread.EditedCame back to try 3 more times, every time it was delicious and hot, my wife complimented me, I never had a chipped bowl again, the staff was ok, the service was good, it seems like last time it was just an accident.“

“Update - Service has improvedThree stars only because the food taste good. Otherwise it will definitely be closer to one for the experience. Used their online order platform to place pickup order at 11:50 am and their confirmation said ready in 20 minutes. Arrived at the restaurant and the food wasn’t ready per the waitress. She said needs another 10 minutes. So no problems there, although it looked like the order was never entered or started. Restaurant wasn’t too packed at that time. 20 minutes later food haven’t finished and the waitress did apologize for the wait. Another 10 minutes and I see food getting packed thinking order is finally ready, but found out all the items getting packaged was for a take out order for a dine in customer. That’s the first issue: if there was such a large togo order, why would you tell a customer 10 more minutes. After another 10 minutes another customer receive their Togo order I approached the waitress and questioned my order, she mentioned 3 more minutes. Second issue is the wait time, 20 minutes online order and another 45 minutes at the store with total wait time of an hour. Once I opened the box another surprise; 1. the order mentions no green onions for one of the items and 2. I was given the wrong item, one of the order was supposed to have ribs. Basically had to wait an hour to get the wrong order.During current times, really want to support local businesses. But businesses has a responsibility to ensure order is correct and order ready time is accurate for the customer.“

The satay beef instant noodles tasted great but I think $12 something is kinda expensive for instant noodles. The congee was ok, i might add a bit more salt, but my wife liked it. the roast duck was very good, juicy, flavorful, and the skin was thin and crispy. The fried dough (油條) was just ok, kinda old.
