My daughter, granddaughter and I went to Lifetime gym yesterday and afterwards we had dinner here Swamp Chicken MO City. The RED Kool aid here is sooo good! A must try! I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was so incredibly delicious and the waffles too! The Mac N Cheese, wow I love it!! My daughter loved her stuff wings with dirty rice. Our waitress took excellent care of us ! The service was outstanding!!! I highly recommend this location.

Overall the stuffed chicken wings were not my cup of tea but the etouffe was divine!
Not too bad. The stuffed chicken was just so so. No need to get that again. The swamp chicken was pretty tasty with good flavor but cooked too hard for me. The Zydeco pasta was good. I was expecting a cream sauce but it was a cheese sauce. Good, flavorful but small portion for the price.
Swamp Chicken Mo City has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have reported a decline in service, citing long wait times and unfriendly staff, even when the dining room is empty. The quality of food and overall dining experience can be inconsistent. However, the restaurant gets praise for its great music and delicious fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and the standout Mac N Cheese. Some customers have enjoyed the Zydeco pasta, noting its good flavor, although they were surprised by the cheese sauce instead of a cream sauce.
The Boudin balls have received negative feedback, with comments pointing out changes in taste and higher prices for the rice served, particularly at the Highway 6 location. Despite some dishes being less favored, the Swamp Chicken is noted for its flavor, although it was cooked too hard for some. The service has had positive remarks, highlighting excellent care from waitstaff. There are suggestions for improvement in kid's meals and cup sizes, but many still enjoy the dining experience. It is hoped that the owners will read and respond to customer comments and make necessary improvements.
