“UPDATE for 2024: I still stand by everything I wrote before as this is still my favorite Japanese restaurant in the area: The best in the area in my opinion. When I want outstanding Japanese food, this is where I go to if they're open. (Closed on weekends). The price is much less expensive than other places in Montgomery County. But besides that, the food is absolutely superb and this place is worth the drive.“

“As a reoccurring customer ,The atmosphere is amazing and It is the best Sushi I have ever had. Our waiter Brandon is always kind and accurate on our order. We will return on behalf of his great service. The only complaint is the lady at the front needs to learn how to respect her co workers! It’s very unprofessional to use such rude tone in front of customers. Hopefully her disrespect is addressed before Akashi looses customers. A returning customer!!“
