“I came from Dallas to visit my friend here and definitely wanted to try Tangra’s it was absolutely worth it. We ordered multiple dishes. Everything was delicious we did not have any leftovers. It was a party of seven and we enjoyed ourselves and Michael was our server, he did such an amazing job at making our dinner so fun and easy to accommodate what exactly we wanted for our order! Best part was the food all came out at once and all of it was fresh. No one had to wait definitely will be coming back for more!“

“Brand new restaurant. This is a quickly growing franchise out of atlanta. It is a really unique place. They have a fusion of Asian Foods including some really fun stuff like a sushi donut, Sushi corn dog and even sushi pizza! The ramen portions are large and packed full of proteins and vegetables. You will not go away hungry. The Thai iced tea is awesome as well, like an Asian Starbucks frappuccino. The food came out really fast. They have a very easy to get to location right off the Southwest Freeway highway 6 exit ramp. They also have an awesome patio which I plan to hang out on quite a bit. They are also right next to some super popular night Hangouts, Pacific Coast tacos and Spectators Bar and Grill. This will be my new favorite hangout for a while.“

“Used to go to the Gray location years ago and was looking for something open later in a Sunday night. First time at the Sugarland location. Franklin was our server and made sure we had everything we needed before we even asked. Customer service is unfortunately becoming extinct so it was refreshing to have a server such as Franklin!“

“Everything about this place is good.

The food was excellent, and honestly some of the best food I've had in quite a while, but the miso lobster and crab ramen dish just didn't hit. I didn't like it's smokey flavor, and it just wasn't for me. The lobster macaroni and cheese though, by God, what a dish. I absolutely loved it. It goes so well together. The wagyu rice hot pot special was absolutely amazing, such a good dish. The Texas Hamachi roll was so good, it blew us away, and the Ocean Picante was pretty good. The bread pudding with chocolate ice cream dessert was absolutely phenomenal too. I'm still giving it 5 stars for the food, but the ramen definitely docks it down a little to more like a 4.7 since there's definitely a dish that wasn't very good (at least in this experience).

The service was good, nothing special, the waiter was really helpful and nice, but he seemed to spend a lot of time with each individual table (which is amazing!) but he seemed like he had quite a few tables, so he'd take a while to come back around. No big deal though, he was nice and did a pretty decent job considering, I liked him, but we did see the busboy that filled up our waters more though I think, and we really liked him too.

The atmosphere definitely lacked most. It felt a lot like any other restaurant, but without much setting it apart. It was loud and crowded (make a reservation for sure!) and pretty bright. When I think of a really nice ambiance I think of MAD (the Spain food place) and think they do a really good job. Here is just a typical place. Eh. Kinda bland, but not bad either I guess, just not impressive.

One important thing, the bathroom has toilet seat warmers! That was really cool.

Definitely consider coming here. The food was absolutely phenomenal overall, and it was so well worth the price in comparison to some other fancy places I've been. Portions were really good too and blows those more fancy places out of the water! Definitely give it a shot sometime.“

“Being vegetarian, we tried 3 varieties of their "Vegetable Rolls" and absolutely loved them. We also had the Singapore Rice Noodle, which was very flavorful and NOT oily. If you are a vegetarian/vegan, let them know and they will prepare the dish without eggs or Fish sauce. This place is run by a hard-working Chinese family. I would any day prefer patronizing small family-owned businesses than the chain-restaurants serving insipid food.

One suggestion for improvement: Please stop giving plastic forks. It not only pollutes the planet but also makes your (otherwise nice) restaurant look cheap.“

“We enjoyed the Korean BBQ chicken tacos, loaded fries, and the melt sandwich all of which were fantastic. The tacos in particular were a highlight. Staff was very nice as well. I would suggest the staff to consider more family friendly music options so parents are more comfortable bringing their little kids to the store“

“This little gem was amazing.... I came for the pizza, but they were out. Had the soup of the day, Broccoli soup (FULL OF FLAVOR) and my girl had the beef satay wrap. “We didn't know what to expect when we made a reservation here during Houston restaurant week. We were pleasantly surprised by the food as it looks like they went to great lengths to make the restaurant feel trendy. We didn't know that they had live entertainment (dancers) who came out every hour starting at 9 pm. They were good but they were only dancing for about 5 minutes. Overall good food, good service, a little pricey for what it was but a good place for young 20-30 something groups to go for a Saturday night out.“

We got Ramen that taste disgusting and we didn’t even finished them. Taste like instant! Bathroom smells stinks never clean. The tables are dirty we got to clean them ourselves. Place smells!“

“What a cute spot! I got the Wok Fried Rice bowl with Smoked Brisket. I am a huge fan of kimchi so this dish was amazing to me. The service was quick and friendly. My friends raved about the brisket egg rolls but they finished it before I got to try any. I will definitely be back to try so other dishes.“

I know it's America, but as a Taiwanese (we have rice rolls on every corner), for the price of one rice roll that I'm paying here, I can get two super jumbo rice roll balls that include all the ingredients. Not only here at Tao, but the rice rolls at 99 Ranch's food court are also pretty expensive. If you've never tried a rice ball or want to have one from time to time, this is the place for you.“

“I went to this place for a friend's birthday. The food was amazing, and the manager was very friendly and hospitable! We had shrimp pasta, jumbo shrimp, combo fried rice, bouidan balls, and vietnamese egg rolls. Everything was fantastic. Plan on getting food catered on the future!“

The Pad Thai and the Hot Honey Seared chicken are out of this world good and look forward to coming back each visit. “JJ Garden was just about a decent experience and it looks nicer from the outside. When you walk inside, you walk straight through the majority of the tables on the way to the register. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but it does inhibit the space of others eating. The menu is put well together and is priced appropriately and so I'll award credit for that. I ordered the Tangy and Spicy Chicken, and it was that, but the taste was faint and at least to me it was not spicy. With that entrée comes both a soup and a egg roll or spring roll. I got the hot and sour soup and a spring roll. The soup was not watery but it also wasn't the most flavorful, and so as a result I'll dub it a "solid" soup. The spring roll was better than the soup and I would also describe it as solid, but it's also very basic and I could call it mass produced. In regards to the food I might be a bit biased, but this is still just an opinion.The last note I'll add is on the service. The food came out within 10ish minutes of being order and was hot.All and all, I'd recommend this only to those residing near it and those looking for a quick and cheap lunch meal.“
