I got 6-dozen donuts and 3-dozen kolaches (they are actually klobasniky but everyone around here calls them the wrong thing); they filled my order in spite of it being so large. “This is in fact a real Shipley’s. I was skeptical. I moved to the area recently and it seemed like this was a ghost store or just a historical location. Several times I have gone by to see they are not open.

Today at 9am I was pleased to find that they are actually open. It is only 6am-12 noon they are open.

There was only one lady in there that I could see, she was not very patient nor very friendly. Very cold and mechanical. I asked her about why the store is sometimes closed and she said we are never closed, always open. (Except for hurricane)

I personally tried to come at least 3 times and it was closed before the hurricane, so I don’t trust her response.

Anyway, this is my honest experience of this specific location and I hope it stays “always open” like she said for those of you who love the Shipley’s donut brand.

Parking: There is a limited amount of parking this location is mostly for drive through. The parking lot pavement is in poor condition.“

“I took my 9 and 11 year old here this morning and let them choose a dozen donuts. The selection was perfect with favorites to choose from. The Service was awesome and they treated my kids with kindness and patience as they tried to decide what their teenage siblings who stayed home would want. The establishment was very clean and clutter free making their donuts stand out vibrantly. Would recommend if you are in the area. I spent $30 for a dozen donuts, 1 apple fritter, a coffee, a strawberry milk and 3 20 oz sodas.“
