“Jones food brings back memories of our grandmother 's cooking on Sundays. Their food is served hot, seasoned well, the plates are fully loaded, where 2 people can make a meal on one plate. The place is neat, cozy warm and clean. And the people are very, very friendly. I would highly recommend Jones. This is a welcoming place.“

“Always enjoy eating at Sam’s!!!! It’s on my places to eat list when come in from Louisiana to help take care of my dad. The staff is always very kind and even gave my mom a gift certificate. They eat there a lot, due to many Dr visit.“

“Some of the best beef tips with gravy, mashed potatoes, cabbage and black eyed peas. They also have great meat loaf. Honestly everything I have ever eaten there has been excellent. I miss this place and can’t wait to come visit and go eat there again.“

“5 stars the food is to die for!!!!!!!!! We needed this. Soul food, down south cooking. Im heading there at 11am to get me some food. I am addicted to this place. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND 💯 and the Kool-aid taste just like grannies! The sweet tea is so good! I love this place. Oh yeah AND you get big portions for such a good price. Yummyyyyyy“

“The waitress didn’t seem to understand the basic requests we had, she sort of went about her business completely ignoring my requests like I wanted my croissant to come out with my meal, but she brought it before any of the drinks! I just felt she could have been a better listener if she did what she nodded and agreed to after I asked. But great food, atmosphere was alright.“

“Good place for buffet but make sure you get as much as you can in your first plate as you will need a clean one every time and ask the cashier for it. My first one I just got very little to taste as my first time here then the second one just got a piece of bread and the chicken that I liked the most but felt i had bothered when asked for a 3rd one for dessert. Chicken strips were delicious!!!“

“I'm always working so I haven't had a chance to eat here until today and let me tell you this place is worth writing home about my wife got the best chicken gumbo and I got the ponchatrain it was amazing and the brought my own pitcher of sweet tea and the nicest waitress, staff everyone was super courteous hidden gem in Nederland“
