My fella and I were in the New Braunfels area for a weekend getaway. We learned there was live music at Gruene Hall and decided to stop in for that and to take in some Texas history. We went on a Tuesday evening, and it was decently busy for a mid-week evening. The bar service was good, also wasn't much of a crowd like there probably is on the weekend. Bar tenders were quick to serve. We took a dance class on Thursday at one location and danced a little on Friday at another location. The teaching couple was very good, demonstrated and coached well. You can keep one partner the whole time or rotate around and meet new people. The dancing is a lot of fun, and nobody seemed to judge, so I felt more comfortable getting out there and practicing.
