They had a deal for buy one get one. They literally half portioned a regular plate and split it between two. I've ordered from here before and had no issues. Coming from living on hawaii I was very excited to have one near me so sad it's going downhill.

This was our first experience with L&L. It was delivered . None of the salads had dressing, the pork had no sauce, the garlic fries had no garlic. 2 cookies were missing. We will likely not be returning.

They changed the sauce on the musubi rolls, and when I brought it up and asked for a refund, the employee had an attitude about it. I was looked at like I didn’t know what it was supposed to taste like. I’ve been to all of their locations and ordered these many times, so I know the difference. The flavor was definitely not the same, and the customer service made the experience even more disappointing.

This place is pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. They didn't give me any sauce for the food (Which is Chicken Katsu so there should be Katsu sauce with it) and didn't even put a rice bed for the chicken.
First & Last time in this location. Probably my last visit to any L & L at this point.

Went to their New Braunfels location and was disappointed in their macaroni I received. It was the main reason I went, the Mac was runny. Like real runny and just didn't taste like usual. I hope they have not changed their recipe. Took my food to go since their AC is out and ut was extremely hot in there.

I love L&L. But I dont think I'll visit this location again. The younge lady on the front counter was ok but you can tell she was ready to go home. But I dont blame her because it was hot in there. Its already hot outside, i dont want to have to go inside and feel the same heat. The food was ok but the meat had alot of fat and was hard to chew so I felt like I wasted money on the plate which the price is alot already, 30 bucks for 1plate. The Mac salad was different from other locations and that is the reason I love going. So far I'll stick with my Auston location.

I took Ride The Rio to L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in New Braunfels Texas. I had BBQ Chicken Bowl with Rice and Macaroni Salad. It was delicious. The Customer Service was wonderful by Isabella. The atmosphere of the Restaurant is fabulous. It was a very fun night with live music by Kainoa Kamaka.

I am not a fan of the new owners. I have been a loyal customer at L&L, always getting the beef kalbi plate with rice and mac. Last time I went in, I ordered over the phone, no indication of a problem, got there, paid, still no indication of a problem, got to my car, opened my food, and found out that my kalbi plate was a mixed bbq plate with 1 low quality kalbi rib that was mostly bone, and then a bunch of chicken I didn't want or ask for (I do not eat chicken.) I go back inside, thinking, oh, this must be a mistake. Easily fixed, no harm no foul. Or so I thought. Then I get told they have new ownership, who have removed the kalbi plate, and instead of informing me when I ordered, they thought they could simply, without asking, sub it for a random bbq mix plate and charge me full price for the plate I did not order without telling me beforehand. I would have ordered something else if they'd said something. I asked if I could pay a little extra for the ribs I had actually ordered, and get told, no, you can no longer order extra Kalbi ribs, and you can't add more than 1 single sad kalbi rib to the mix plate either. The kitchen ended up putting 2 kalbi ribs on the grill for me to make things right just this once, which I appreciated, but I could tell they did not want to do. To be honest, I was going to leave this under the rug and not leave a review about it, but I keep getting their advertisement texts to leave a review, so here you are L&L. Your honest review. The changes new ownership is making are bad, and your kalbi ribs were the one thing you served that the competition did not. Also, don't put random proteins in a box when you don't have what someone ordered and then charge them for their box of disappointment and protien I can't eat. That alone is why I will not be returning, and have been telling my friends to not bother going back either. Hawaiian Bros is very good and does not give you random crap when you order knowing what you want- and they won my business, not through any advertisement, but through L&Ls new owners mishandling of their business. Get new new owners.

Placed an order for a half/half plate. Food was meh, service was non existent and if feels as if they don't have AC. Will continue to return to Hawaiian Bros for nicer atmosphere at the same price.

I was not pleased with the food. Definitely cooks need more training. Rice was uncooked & the stir fry noodles were soaked in a weird sauce. I've had L& L in Hawaii and this is not the same.

I just went in a few moments ago, just for Spam masubi, and the girl at the front was very pleasant, asked about the tattoo I got for my Dad after he passed. As I was about to pull away, got my food pretty quick, I realized she left a message and a little more. I was out today because I was feeling very depressed, and she went out of her way a bit to leave me a little message of support. I will forever be thankful for that. She deserves a raise.
