If I could give Steve more than 5 stars, I absolutely would.
Steve is not just a baker—he’s a baking legend here in New Braunfels, Texas. His sourdough is beyond amazing, but that’s just the beginning. The blueberry scones? This place is absolutely fabulous! I love coming here every week - all the baked goods and the sandwiches are delicious! The owners & staff are super friendly - always a delight being there!

Steve’s Dough Shop & Bakery is a must-visit in south Texas! The sourdough bread is perfection and the lemon cookies, pecan twist, tea cakes are the absolute best! The friendly staff and amazing customer service make every visit delightful. Located in Five Stones, the bakery offers phenomenal baked goods like spinach squares and savory stromboli. While they are only open Friday - Sunday, it’s worth the visit to enjoy their delicious treats. Be sure to get there early on popular days as they tend to sell out fast, with customers even buying out all the cookies. Don’t miss out on this fabulous bakery experience!
