Found this place on a scavenger hunt of New Braunfels and had to come back. Fresh German pastries that taste as delicious as they look. I haven't eaten in the deli part yet, but the bakery is the best in town and worth the drive from San Antonio.

This bakery is the absolute BEST in all of south Texas! The lemon cookies, pecan twist, tea cakes and sourdough bread is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! The guys in the bakery are fantastic and so incredibly friendly! The BEST BEST BEST!!!
