Trivia and great bbq
Ordered the El Jefe sandwich. Supposed to be ½lb of sliced brisket. It was probably ¼lb. It was mostly fat. The bun was smashed flat and they gave me a minimal amount of coleslaw in a side dish.
I caught them stealing from me and they called it corporate policy. They charge more per pound of meat if you order less than a pound. This policy is not listed anywhere and some of the employees were not even aware it was happening. It's a shady way of increasing profits if you do not want to order a full pound of meat. I've been in Texas all my life. No reputable place prices bbq like this.
