7 Best Tex-Mex Restaurants near New Waverly

“I hate to beat a dead horse because everyone we know is talking about how great the food here is, but it really is! I just can’t imagine why anybody would go to any other Mexican restaurant in the area. Fantastic!

Edit: here it is over a year later and we eat here probably once a week. Still love this place. And check out their skinny margaritas!!“

“The New Waverly location truly stands out for its exceptional service, delicious and affordable food, and impressively large menu. The restaurant is always spotless, and every visit has been consistently excellent. We’ve been there at least 30 times, and they’ve never missed a beat when it comes to quality or service. The manager and staff work incredibly hard, are genuinely friendly, and make you feel like part of the family. This is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to—I highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try!“

“My friend & I eat here once a week for many years. Everything we order is delicious, temperature of food is hot, never cold, service is Always friendly, prompt, they keep our drinks filled and their bathrooms are as clean as Buccees!! They Always welcome you as you come in. Cannot find a better atmosphere, food & drinks, friendly staff than here.“

“It's good have a place like this in Willis. Prices were reasonable and our server was the BEST. Never had to ask for a drink refill. Love the colors and how bright it is inside. Because of the layout it can get a bit loud but not too bad. I'm looking forward to going again soon.“
