I had a great experience visiting From Across the Pond and really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, flavorful food, and friendly service. From the moment I arrived, the restaurant had a comfortable and inviting feel that made it a great place to relax, enjoy a meal, and spend time with friends or family. The unique concept and pleasant environment created a memorable dining experience.

The food was one of the highlights of my visit. The menu offered a variety of dishes with quality ingredients and enjoyable flavors. Everything I tried was fresh, well prepared, and served with care. The portions were satisfying, and the attention to detail in the preparation made each dish stand out. The combination of traditional influences and thoughtful presentation added to the overall experience.

The service was another part of the visit that impressed me. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my time there. They were happy to answer questions, provide recommendations, and make sure everything was handled smoothly. Their welcoming approach helped create a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The atmosphere at From Across the Pond was another reason I enjoyed my visit. The comfortable seating, relaxed setting, and inviting energy made it a great place for conversation and spending quality time with others. The environment had a unique personality that made the experience feel different from a typical restaurant.

Overall, I had a very positive experience and would recommend From Across the Pond to anyone looking for good food, friendly service, and a comfortable dining atmosphere. It is a place I would gladly return to again.

We were excited to go here. We had been to similar places. However, the food was not good. I got bangers and mash. The first banger had pink in the middle and tasted like sewage. The other tasted okay. To be fair, they did replace the first banger. My wife's fish and chips had way too much batter and that batter was mushy and soggy. We will not be returning.

The food was awesome, especially for someone gluten free, and the options on the menu were amazing, not the variety a gluten free person would normally get! The regular food was also very good according to the rest of the party.
We struck out on service unfortunately, I really don't like feeling like a inconvenience to the wait staff and it was obvious our server was not happy to be there nor happy that we were there on the date of our visit 7/3/26, after the manager showed up the wait staff took on a very different tone which is concerning from a customer service aspect that it's an act being put on when the manager is there.
Would have been a 5/5 had the service matched the quality of food!

Amazing place. They have a lot of gluten free options. The guiness is the best I've tasted on this side of the pond. Server was great. We will definitely be back.

We stopped in at From Across the Pond, .. looking for some authentic English food. When we walked in we realized there was a World Cup Soccer game on and there were no seats available. No problem, .. we were greeted with a big smile and a happy owner who seated us outside on the wonderful patio, .. we couldn't see the game on the many TV's .. but that's not what we came for, .. so perfect! Nice and quiet, .. great for conversations.
Our waitress came out almost immediately and gave us menus and took our drink order. They have some wonderful beer at this pub. With a 5 hour drive ahead of us, we opted for root beer!! It was delivered quickly and it hit the spot!!
Although we were outside in June the shade from the large tree made the ambience comfortable and lovely.
We ordered a few things from the menu including some incredible fish and chips, .. Cod is what we decided .. although the had pollack as another delicious option.
My daughter and her new husband loved it!! In fact our waitress and my youngest daughter struck up a few conversations and have now become friends on social media.
Over all, the experience was absolutely awesome!
We will definitely be back again, ... it's worth the 5 hour drive .. I'm sure we will make more friends in the process as well!!
Maybe we will sit inside next .. or we may opt for the beautiful patio again!!

I’m from England and the food tasted like your friends mum made it. She’s put in the effort but it’s not good.
The peas weren’t good and the gravy was not English gravy. Our starter wasn’t fantastic either. If you were served this in England people would complain.

Enjoyed watching the football whilst I ate though. Needs some English/British drinks on the menu.

We ordered delivery of fish and chips
All of the food was overcooked but the fish was still good
However the chips, fries were brown and very oily and really mostly inedible
Also the peas had been forgotten and were missing from the order

We visited this restaurant today and tried their Sunday pot roast! It was amazing! You need to go eat there for sure. They had 2 big screens with soccer games on. The food is delicious and gluten free for some entrees. We will be going back ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ

I highly recommend this place for Gluten free / Celiac people. I was able to get fried cheese sticks safely (everything that is fried is gluten free). Most of the menu is gluten free and a few of the items that are not have gluten free options. The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac. My husband who doesn't have celiac got chicken tenders and said he could not tell a difference. We both really enjoyed it.
