“Shot out to FRANK the chef. I drive a semi truck ?. It's hard to park and eat where you want. They have a small spot for truck parking by the fuel lanes. I was so hungry at 1 AM in the morning. They were almost out of Carne Guisada. Frank got me some fresh from the back. It tasted really good. I was finally full and not falling asleep.It's a good spot to eat late night.”

“We call it our Dairy Queen, everybody calls it their DQ. Odem has about 2500 people and is slowly growing and doesn’t have to many options. Our Dairy Queen is one of the larger DQ’s I’ve been in. It has several areas could be used for small gatherings to a decent size birthday party. I know people who travel 10 miles or more to come to the Odem DQ. And the reason is like everyone says, the food is hot and tasty, service is quick, the treats are sweet and cold and agrees on how clean the restaurant and grounds are.”

“I’ve ate at some great BBQ joints all across the great state of Texas stretching from Marathon, Texas (out west) to North Texas, East Texas and as far south as Laredo and all around the Coastal Bend and I’ve got to hand it Butter’s BBQ some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. By far the best Ribs in the state and in my opinion better bbq overall than two of Texas Monthly’s Top 10 off their most recent list. Enjoyed my visit and can’t wait to come back.”

“Driving back from Corpus to Kansas we stopped in this most amazing little cafe! I got a brown sugar latte and the kids ate the berry bubble waffle! It was to. die. for! The bubble waffle was soft and delicious and melted in your mouth with the Nutella and berries!
Everyone was so kind, friendly and generous. It was a delightful detour in our long trek home!

Text arrived saying it was done. 5....10.....15 minutes later, no food. Went inside and it was sitting there......cold. I don’t like having to reheat shrimp. My last trip was NAILS. Drove up, paid, hot food in my hands, and go!”
