“First time customer. I’m a Cajun who grew up along the Texas coastline. I know fresh seafood. I had fried fish with a side of gumbo. The fish was battered to perfection. The gumbo was spot on and reminded me of the gumbo you can get in Louisiana. And the crown and coke was not watered down! I’ll be back time and time again!“

“Passing through from Phoenix to Atlanta stumbled upon this place.. Right off the 10, and as we got closer you could tell this place was legit.. Being on the road we arrived in between the lunch and dinner shifts and it was nearly empty.. Staff was helpful and we opted for a quick bite.. First thing I was asked is do you want tea.. You got sweet? Of course, and then I get a whole picture.. In the south we don't do it this way.. Was quite experience.. Opted for a burger and fries.. Came with candied bacon and garlic fries.. Probably one of best burgers I have ever had in terms of taste, portion and overall experience.. Wish I had time for one of their legendary steaks.. Not from Odessa to compare against other local restaurants, but as an outsider this spot gets top marks.. If you are looking for great food, a casual atmosphere, and an overall epic place go here..“

“I would have loved for this place to have received 5 stars across the board I've always heard good things about this establishment.But when I go to a steak house I expect that Steak I order to be cooked like I order it the first time .When we received our Steaks my wife had a 12 oz ribeye ,my daughter had an 8 oz cut and I ordered the 12 oz Sirloin ;That being said I ordered my Steak Medium Rare , when I received the Steak I was shocked !The cut was around 10 inches long and 2 to 3 inches wide in the middle which tampered down on both ends to abut 1 inches wide and was not 12 oz nor was it cooked Medium Rare it was Medium to Mid well and Medium rare at the middle . So while waiting for the server to return which was about 20 minutes I had my baked potato and salad .When the server returned I told her the issue and she was happy to replace it but by that time we were ready to go so I suggested it to go and she kindly obliged in fixing it as so .The point is we had to be in Odessa for my wife to go to a spine appointment which we drove from Ozona Texas to do an when we were finished we wanted a good meal before we left which my wife an daughter were pleased but it is my Birthday week and to start it off I got a not so good experience.The bread and cheese are good so that helped .I do hope if I do go back that I get a good Steak oh an I'm not a ribeye guy I Like a good Sirloin !Enjoy .“

“Osaka is always a win, the food is good everytime.The only con was this most recent trip I went with a group and we were super squished into a table, and seated very close to the table next to us.Our waitress took a bit, but she was very busy, so we weren't upset with her about that.“

“Here for work and ate at the restaurant, not the bar area. So not sure if the same kitchen or not. Shockingly I have nothing bad to say, except the restaurant was too quiet. I could here a pin drop! Waitress was very nice, food was good, and overall I was surprised.“
