“I’m finding it tough to rate La Guera… it’s a personal preference thing for me. I prefer ceviche that is served as fresh chunks of protein, rather than shredded. La Guera’s ceviche is a shredded style, a bit on the limier side, very clean white fish, but seemed to have a little flavor. She serves it with fresh avocado, homemade tortilla chips, and crackers. It tasted fine, but lacked the texture of solid fish that I prefer.

The $12 shrimp cocktail is very good! Even the small is plenty of food. Medium size jumps up to $20! Small is all you need! Great, spicey flavor with just enough cilantro and citrus. I’m a fan!

He was super helpful, full of great ideas, and willing to meet with us to make sure everything was just right. Best of all, it wasn’t your typical wedding food.
