“A friend gifted us with a certificate for Mario’s. We had not tried it out yet, so thought this was the perfect time to do so. I’m so glad we did! Their fajitas, tamales, cheese enchiladas, and queso were delicious! Charro beans were loaded with flavor and the rice and refried beans were pretty typical for a Mexican restaurant in East Texas. Not bad at all. We will definitely be back!“

“First time here & not disappointed. Chips & salsa & sweet tea — best in Palestine! Had chicken chimichanga w/ verde sauce. So good, could not eat it all. Hubby had spinach enchiladas plus the shrimp ceviche / tilapia tostada. Delicious! Very busy at lunchtime & we can see why. Friendly staff. Will be back regularly!!“

“We stop by the Palestine location everytime we go through there. The food is fresh delicious. Everything is made fresh that day. The store was very neat and clean. The bathrooms were spot on. Overall its a great place to eat.“

“My hubby & I ate there today, we both had sautéed shrimp, beef taco, Spanish rice & cheese queso. it was wonderful & the chips served with salsa was thin & not hard like ALL of the other Mexican restaurants in this area serve. Other Mexican restaurants serve hard recycled chips with the salsa dips, that are tooo hard to eat.. The service was perfect & fast & the atmosphere was wonderful & clean I recommend Jalapeno Tree to my friends on FB“

“My food was just as ordered. Employees were nice and seemed like they didn’t hate their jobs. I usually use the drive thru but I went in this time. I wish they would take down the building and put up a new one. It’s tired and stagnant inside and deserves a revamp so these friendly folks have a spot to work in that’s as nice as they are!“
