We stopped at Wendy's for lunch in Palestine, Texas on our way from Port Neches to Midlothian . The manager, Charles, warmly welcomed us and took our order. He was one of the friendliest, customer oriented restaurant workers I have ever encountered. He checked on us several times to make sure we had everything and chatted with us, making our meal there very enjoyable . Wendy's is fortunate to have someone like Charles representing them. Just ordered avocado southwest chicken salad… no avocado…bitter wilted greens…store won’t answer phone. Won’t be going back.
Horrible service! Waited in drive thru lane for 40 minuets and was 5th car in line. Food was very cold. Worst lunch I’ve had in a long time.

The restaurant has plenty of parking, a decent drive-through, and is wheelchair accessible. The food was correct, hot and good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and fresh, also very reasonable on their prices. Kids seem to love their meals. The place needs improvement.
