“My favorite place to get a taco salad, soda, and side of rice for under 15$ at lunch. There lunch specials are awsome and food is very tasty. I have gone there so much and ordered the same thing so much the cooks in the back see me and atomaticly know what I want.

“We discovered this awesome restaurant on Saturday 2 weeks ago and came back again this week. We had breakfast both times. Hubby had the Barbacoa and Eggs and I had the Chicken Enchiladas and Eggs both came with potatoes and beans (I could eat these 3 times a day). Eggs both times were a little over cooked, but we didn't care everything else was amazing! This is a family restaurant and the service was reflected in everything they do...Currently only open for breakfast and lunch...but starting Sept 5th they will be open Thur-Sat night! They also serve Modelo.“

“Ordered thru doordash pick up : beef nachos w/ beans add avocado slices and a slice of chocolate pie. Food tasted Ok, would have liked a bit more seasoning. I did not receive the avocado slices nor the chocolate pie. Instead, coconut pie. A large drink, 32 ounce $4+!“

“Love this place! The gorditas, carnitas taco plate and the barbacoa taco plate were all fantastic. I asked for the hottest sauce and it was flavorful as well as spicy. We placed our orders online for pick up and it was ready at the time it was supposed to be, and everyone was very nice. We will definitely be back!“

“We have been to Taqueria El Jacalito on Kaufman a couple of times, We will definitely be back. They have never let us down. The tacos I ordered were mouth watering and my husband ordered the chicken quesadilla with beans and rice. If you like something spicy then get the orange sauce. It's hot but my husband and I kept going back for more. We will absolutely give our money to a mom and pop place rather then a big chain restaurant. #shoplocal #supportsmallbusinesses“

“Affordable, tasty food! Nice staff, quiet place. I had the gordita plate (2 bean and cheese gorditas w/r&b)(9), my wife had the taco plate (3 pastor tacos w/r&b)(9), and we split an agua fresca jamaica (4). Chips came out warm with a great salsa. Our meals were out in good order with a smooth salsa verde and a salsa roja that will light you up. Nothing fancy here, but they haven't jacked their prices up like greedy people have been doing everywhere else. As you may have noticed, I give five stars to only the most transformative experiences - this place more than earned its four!“
