“Here is a gem of a little restaurant, where the food is made from scratch, and everything we tried in our party of eight on 10/14/2023 was just so flavorful and fresh, bursting with flavor. Lo Mein Chicken, Garlic Beef, Orange Chicken, General Chow's Chicken - all superior in flavor and appearance. It's a very small place, but they do a booming take out and drive-through business. We should all be thankful for local restaurants like this that work so hard to put together outstanding dishes. The portions are very large, and the prices are reasonable in the context of the current economy.“

“Panda has always been a nice place to dine in. Most people usually do drive through but I occasionally stop by and dine in. This time was one of those. The restaurant was immaculate. The staff always happy, always polite. Restrooms with all the necessary to maintain a clean environment. Yes, off course, the food was as always fresh. “The food is always great at the restaurant but I expected the same on a delivery and I didn’t get the sauce for the chicken wraps that was a little disappointing, the shrimp order seemed a little smaller than at the restaurant. I love their food but it’s not the same when you order for delivery.“

“Stopped by today, service was excellent, food was amazing. Server made sure we had everything we needed, and check on us multiple times, food was excellent, appetizers were great. I would say the only negative was they don’t have the Churro Ice cream, been dying to try it! Hopefully next time my husband and I visit they have it! “The sushi was really good and had a large variety to choose from. It would be helpful if the rolls were labeled with what the ingredients were though.The Chinese buffet portion was very fresh and good, just not as huge a variety as a stand alone Chinese buffet.Other all a good tasty place that has something for everyone.“

“I love this small restaurant. The General Tso's is my favorite from all the places I have tried. The taste never disappoints me. The Teriyaki is good as well. The price has gone up, but they serve you a good portion and the staff is friendly. I always have leftovers.“

“Generous portions. We had Beef with Broccoli and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Great flavor and temperature of food was hot. Service excellent. Ambiance was a bit lacking for dine in, but plenty of tables and chairs. Counter service with table delivery. Currently they cater to take home but took our suggestions for at least disposable plates for dine in. Beverages are numerous Asian inspired options. Taro Boba Milk Tea was just the right level of sweetness.“

“We visited yesterday and had dinner. We ordered the dinner specials, chicken and vegetables, chicken egg rolls and shrimp and scallops. The chicken egg rolls are very good, so is the hot and sour soup. The price is reasonable and the service is great. We will visit again.“

“Anytime someone tells me they’re craving Chinese food this is where I recommend them to go. I’ve been coming here for years, started out as me and my stepmoms special place to get lunch and catch up because of their quite/dim atmosphere but now it’s my special treat. Their portions are huge and you’ll have left overs for days! “Man the Fried Rice from here is delicious!, Finally found a replacement for House of China ever since it closed down. This place is great!, it may take a while to get your order but that is because of the amount of orders they receive which goes to show how good their food is. “Food is always good as well as service. But I got to say tonight I was disappointed. Were you having special invite for pets tonight? While we were there a girl came in with something hidden in her shirt. Turns out it was a tiny monkey. Also a group of 5 to 6 people came I. With two Pekingese dogs. Support dogs for emotions. This is a disgrace to people who actually have disabilities and rely on their disability dogs to preform actions for them. Where was the health department. Just gross they bring carry their pets in to an eating establishment and then no washing of hands and handling serving utensils.“

“i am not exaggerating when i say this is my favorite restaurant. i am now 24 and had been going to this restaurant for as long as i can remember, and my parents had been going to it long before i was even born. for a long time this was the only chinese restaurant in mcallen and a lot of my family's first time ever having chinese food was here (if i remember correctly, it's taiwanese). i have literally traveled all over the world and cannot find a place that tastes exactly like lotus inn. those who have been coming here for years know for a fact that the same family has been running this place since the 80s and you can really tell it has that home-made, grandparent-made flavor. their chicken and cabbage soup is the most comforting soup and i miss it so much. i always get their chicken chow mein and it's really hard to find that exact flavor anywhere. the closest i got was a random taiwanese restaurant in london. there is literally no other place like this for me and my family! i hope they re-open soon and that it has the same flavor! thank you for bringing chinese food to south texas out of all places! 太感谢了！我希望我再次可以吃你们的菜。“

“Good fast service and LOTS of food. Unlike many other places they have their lunch menu in effect on Saturday, and their lunch portions are huge. I thoroughly enjoyed my Chicken with Cashews (it also has lots of mush). There was enough left for another meal. I will be returning.“
