“On Sunday we went to eat honestly, the food we always love, we loved the treatment that one of the managers gave us, I don't remember what her name was, but she was really friendly and helpful, supporting our waitress with giving us what we needed, it was very nice to see that she was supporting our waitress. the employees that way will definitely ? go again.“

“My sister and me have been eating here for over ten years. The food is consistent. I like that. The food is prepared in single batches just for you. I also like that you can ask for your order to be cooked well done. This is a family run restaurant. And the yiung ladies who take your order are super nice and accomodating. We've never had any problem with the food. I also love the egg rolls. They are light and crisp.you can also replace the rice in any plate with lomain for one dollar! More than once we've sent $tips to the cooks because the food was just great. So this little place its good all around. And the prices are reasonable. We are happy to come here and help a small buisness.“

“Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. It is always consistent and delicious. I cannot give it full 5 stars simply because they have gotten greedier over the years. The black plates don’t hold has much food as the white plates they used to use, and now they don’t even offer an egg roll as part of the double combo meal.“

“I really enjoy Le Lai! I’m from Chicago and have indulged some of the best Chinese food. After Chicago I moved to San Antonio and missed the quality Chinese, so of course when I moved to McAllen I had low expectations however, Le Lai exceeded my expectations and so far is the best Asian cuisine I’ve had here. I highly recommend!“

“BEST VEGETABLE FRIED RICE!! It almost tastes smoky, the vegetables are soooo fresh! Delicious mushrooms, broccoli cooked to perfection, mung bean sprouts, juicy mushrooms, carrots, peas, egg, all perfectly seasoned. I never had a great experience eating in at their restaurant. But if you order for carry out, there's nothing to complain about. I wish they had a location in Mcallen. I'd be going there every week! Compliments to the chef!!“

“The takeout this evening was perfect. This crew provided the best well-cooked chow mein and super greens that I've ever ordered. They're usually dry and somewhat tasteless. They were fresh and great. I also ordered the King Pao Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Very good.“

“Seeing all these nit-picking reviews is so sad.... just because a place doesn't tend to your every need or doesn't have top tier laying down for you to stomp on them service, doesn't mean it isn't great food.... learn to review or don't review at all. This place has great food and a decent staff.... the food is what ppl go to and will continue to go to. Everything else doesn't really matter, and if it does to you, then move on and be done with it. My go-to is the lo-mein with veggies and beef, an off menu dish that is just my favorite.“
