We came for the pizza… and left with a full belly and a new member of the Big Papa fan club!
The food was great, the vibe was solid—but Big Papa? He shined. Friendly, super attentive, and clearly takes pride in his job. You can feel the difference when someone actually cares, and he does.
He even gave my nephew a free drink, which made his whole day (and honestly made me emotional for a second 😭). Big Papa goes above and beyond, and it shows.
Peter Piper, take notes: this man is the gold standard. Promote him, give him a raise, name a pizza after him—I don’t care, just give him his flowers.
Thank you Big Papa, for making our visit feel like more than just dinner. You’re a real one. 🍕👏💯“

“Daniel was our Server today. We dined in, my husband and I. Daniel, was courteous, friendly, attentive and so professional! Excellent customer care service!! 👍🏼👍🏼 George, was the Cook! We’ve, visited Pizza Hut Restaurants from Harlingen to McAllen. By far, this Restaurant has the best quality of food and service! Food is piping hot, delicious and presentation is Excellent!!! I strongly recommend this Pizza 🍕 Hut! We’re from Mercedes, it is worth the drive, or if you’re in the area, stop by..you won’t be disappointed. I give this location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Assistant Manager stopped by our table and inquired about our experience, two thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼“

“This is my go-to local spot for pizza, I live close by and I have eaten from here since the early Pandemic. I have no problems with the food and the only times I've had problems were the very rare wrong pizza and the staff would correct and give me the correct pizza, no questions asked. The only other problem I have is that there will be Internet outages in the area and their phone/online ordering wouldn't work and I'd have to drive and place my order in person, which is no problem to me as I live close by.
When I'm feeling indulgent and by myself I'd order the calzone/stromboli and if I'm ordering for a group I can't go wrong with a supreme and a Pesto pizza (my personal favorite). I also appreciate being one of the few places to do a big pizza size, the New Yorker is a perfect for football games or visiting guests. I hope this places never goes anywhere“

“I hadn't been to this location in a long time. Decided to go recently and was a good decision. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced. The personal pan pizza, salad and drink were delicious. The boneless lemon pepper wings were delicious too. The server, Manuel was very attentive and courteous. Went again today and the food was really good. My friend liked his food too. This location is very clean inside which tells a lot of the employees who keep it clean. Will be coming back again!“
