“Food is always excellent! The atmosphere is relaxing. The people make you feel like family. Nothing is fried so it is healthy food. So much better than chains like Cotton Patch or independent competitors like Old West, Dixie House or Blue Mound Cafe for instance. Just love the place.“

“Our group of 4 really enjoyed each of our entrees. The highest rated was the meatloaf followed by the chicken fried chicken. Cindy Sue came by to personally check on us. Everything was good and I highly recommend giving it a try. Support local!“

“Chef Tootie was an angel and provided a meal for my mom and the residents at her care home for her birthday on 12/4/2024, which was also Chef Tootie's birthday!! The fish, chicken and red beans and rice was absolutely amazing. Thanks again Chef Tootie for catering this event for my mom's 80th Birthday!!!“
“Best catering around. After doing our food tastings, we were happy that T & J could cater our wedding. Jeff the Chef is passionate about his work. He has a special touch which cannot be duplicated. Everyone who attended our wedding were constantly raving about the food. He’s already been referred. Book him asap! He is a hot commodity. There is no limit to what he can do!“

“My husband and I got the Too Good to Go meal bags, which contained jollof rice today. I was able to talk to the chef, who is super nice and friendly, for a bit. My husband and I both absolutely loved the food! It's so flavorful and has kind of a smokey undertone and spice that slowly builds. We will absolutely go back and actually eat inside the restaurant to try more things!
One note: it was pretty chilly in there, so bring a jacket.“

“Finally made the trip to try Meat Candy BbQ and oh boy was it worth it. The brisket had my head spinning in delicious land. Incredibly tender, perfect crust and seasoning, and a perfect amount of fat. The bourbon maple pork belly burnt ends just made this trip next level.“

“My husband and I tried Hickory Stick for the first time today. The staff is friendly and has great customer service. The price is reasonable for what you get. We shared a 3 meat plate-the ribs were my favorite:fall off the bone but the meat still held together. The schooner of beer was ice cold and the best price anywhere. We will be back!“
“I cannot say enough AMAZING things about this catering company! From start to finish, they went so far above and beyond that it honestly felt like we had close friends helping us rather than just hired vendors. I was planning my daughter's birthday party and had a lot of back-and-forth trying to figure out the perfect menu. They were so patient and kind throughout the whole process, offering helpful suggestions and working with me every step of the way. Not only did they give us an incredible deal with tons of discounts and thoughtful freebies, but their service on the day of the event completely blew me away. They showed up early, helped us carry everything in and set up, served food with the warmest smiles, cleaned up like total pros, packed up ALL the leftovers beautifully, and helped break everything down as if it were their own event. Who does that these days?! Every guest commented on how delicious the food was, and multiple parents (even just those dropping off or picking up kids!) asked for their information because they were so impressed. This team didn’t just cater our party—they made it a success. Their energy, professionalism, and kindness were next-level. Honestly, they are charging WAY less than what their service is worth. I almost feel guilty for getting such amazing service at the price we paid. If you're even thinking about hiring them, do yourself a favor and lock them in now. You won’t regret it! “WOW! Our whole party was blown away by the amazing catering. We got the wings, the brisket, the sides and goodness it was heavenly. There was not a single empty plate and most didnt even need the bomb sauce cause the meat was THAT good. 10/10 our go to on the grill. Plus the amazing customer service and affordable price!“
