“Stopped by on a Saturday, around noon, halfway through a 4,400 mile, 11-day road trip. If you do the math, that's a lot of daily miles. Checking Yelp, this seemed to have decent enough reviews.First off, I was shocked to find someone at my window. A lot of places say drive-in when they really mean drive through. I was momentarily miffed that I would have to eat in the car since I didn't have anywhere to go, but I got over that quickly.I was about to order a standard cheeseburger when it occurred to me to ask the friendly and professional carhop what she would recommend. She said the Eagle was her favorite. "It has ham..." That's as far as she got. I said, "sold," then asked about the onion rings. She honestly told me that she'd never tried them, but I took a chance, anyway. An ice-cold beverage rounded out the meal.I have to say, I'm an onion-ring snob and these were among the best I've ever had. Nice, thick slices of onion with something like a beer batter. The burger was off the chain, as the kids say. (Do the kids still say that?" Thick, juicy, and flavorful. An instant favorite for both items.The food was great. I thought it was a solid value of the $, as I didn't wind up being hungry for another eight hours or so, and Jordyn, again, was just fabulous. All y'all who live close to this place are lucky. I'm looking forward to coming here again, on my next trip to Texas.“
“Clean establishment.Seems to be family owned & operated. Had no idea food was served here. They also offer snacks & over cream. Ordered the flautas plate. It was good only wish it came complete with a side of beans & rice. Bring cash or be prepared to pay the 3% merchant fee which is passed down to the customer to pay.“
