I love the catfish and shrimp plate! You can taste how fresh the shrimp are. You can practically smell the ocean on them! The calamari is a good starter, too.April 2024 update: I went with a large party (12) and do not recommend. We called early for a reservation and they didn't do those. Our waitress was nice and was able to split the checks the way we needed, but service was sloooow. At one point, everyone looked around at the restaurant emptying and asked "where's the food?" When it did arrive, NOTHING was hot. I sent my plate back (ordered the steak and shrimp) and it got warmed. The shredded cheese on my baked potato didn't even melt.Something changed. I'm not sure what. But it wasn't for the better.

We met friends while traveling from San Antonio to the DFW area. FD had really good food at a reasonable price. We had a group of 8 and spent over $200, including tip. We just felt rushed by the server. She brought the bill before it was requested and kept checking back. I didn't get a refill of my water, but the food was pleasant surprise in Pflugerville, TX.

I had the catfish etoufee which was bland but the hushpuppies saved the meal.Our server was superb and very friendly considering how busy it was during the eclipse weekend.The house margarita was too tarte, maybe pull back on that a bit and it would be perfect.Overall if I'm in Austin again I'll give it another try.

There’s nothing to not like. There’s an extensive menu with something for everyone. I had surf & turf. Everyone in our party enjoyed. Nick was our server and very personable. Family of 3, w appetizer & drinks our entire meal was $75 with tip. Insane! I’d recommend this place.
Great atmosphere...all the staff was cheerful and attentive. The food was amazing. The stuffed shrimp was so good, and everything was well balanced with flavor. I don't know how the prices are this reasonable. I can not wait to come back and try more of their delicious food! To the cooks and staff in the kitchen, thank you for a wonderful meal!!
