very nice place
I’m moving out of Austin and stumbled upon this coffee spot on my last day in town. The NICEST people, and delicious ceremonial grade matcha! I got the banana bread matcha and it was 10/10 delicious. Amazing customer service, super cute set up. Thank you Hometown!
They had me at the first sip, the golden hour was suggested and my GOD…. Yes🥰

Hometown Coffee in Pflugerville is a great local coffee spot with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the service is amazing. The breakfast options are delicious and filling without being overly heavy. The croissant with ham, egg, Havarti cheese, and hot honey is a perfect combo—warm, flaky, and packed with flavor. The Sunday Morning drink and strawberry matcha are also favorites, with the matcha described as sweet and refreshing. Popular menu items include The Northside. However, the hours are a common complaint, as the shop closes at 1PM, which feels limiting and makes it hard to visit without planning around that small window. Despite this, Hometown Coffee has a real neighborhood charm that keeps customers coming back again and again.
