I grew up in the bay area eating Cantonese food and have been looking for a good Cantonese restaurant in DFW for many years. I think I've finally found my new favorite! The taste of the food, atmosphere, and service were all on point here. I'm definitely coming back!
Photos I'm attaching show the following dishes:
- Cantonese style deep fried tofu
- Pan fried noodles w/ chicken
- BBQ pork
- Eggplant w/ salted fish in a clay pot
- Egg drop soup

The clay pot rice was good although there were only three selections. The food in general was good and authentic Cantonese. We will go back for sure. The atmosphere was fine.
Best Chinese food literally anywhere can’t stress how good it was, we walked in and u can immediately see that people know it’s good and they have regulars. The quality and authenticity of the dishes are top tier, and I hear they have only been around a year or so . Definitely will be going there regularly, anybody that says anything negative does not know what they are talking about and is the wrong kinda costumer

Based on the reviews, Bokee Chinese BBQ House offers authentic Cantonese food with amazing flavors and true Hong Kong style. The food is described as crazy good and a hidden gem. Dishes like the steamed pacific oysters with garlic sauce, golden shrimp, triple Chinese bbq plate, and classic clay pot rice are all outstanding. The clay pot rice with Chinese sausage and clams in black bean sauce is a must. Other items like snow pea leaves, beef dry fried noodle, and stir fried beef flat noodles are also praised for their perfect wok-hei and wok char. The service features real Hong Kong people with high quality service and amazing speed. The free daily soup is heartwarming and prepared from heart. The prices are good, with a meal for four costing around $88. Popular items may sell out early, so coming early is recommended. Located in Plano since January, this place is quietly becoming a hidden gem for authentic Hong Kong flavor and style.
