Mexicans look for Mexican food not tex Mex. We tried this place, service a little slow but good. We order cheese red enchiladas and were OK, not the original chile pasilla sauce, tasted like the cans they sell in markets. I order rajas con queso sopes. Rajas are from poblano, but they used Serrano chiles. Were super hot didn’t like them. The sope (corn dough) was good.
Exceptional traditional Mexican fare. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The steak fajita tacos are savory. The service is welcoming. As it is on the square, street parking is limited. Use the structure behind the shops across the street. The only disappointment is that the margaritas are rather heavy on the ice.

I was pleasantly surprised with the low carb options available on the menu! Even though the sides are rice and beans, they have grilled veggies and guacamole you can sub out. I can not wait to go back and try some more dishes! It was nice and clean and our server was prompt and attentive. Even the chips and salsa lady was super friendly and helpful!Dietary restrictions: Great for low carb dieters!
