I go here for brunch frequently and occasionally lunch. Big menu w/full bar and nice patio
Our breakfast was good but all overpriced IMO. The bacon was thin and overcooked and we had to ask for ketchup, butter, jam, and a coffee refill. The restaurant was in what seemed like perpetual renovations.
We also had a hard time finding it because the name changed and no one told Google. With so many breakfast places in the area, we see no reason to return.
Not fresh. Not clean. In experienced staff.
Main Street Bistro and Bakery is a cozy spot with a mix of experiences. The service can be hit or miss, with some customers feeling neglected, while others are treated like family. The food is a mixed bag, with some dishes falling short of expectations, though pastries like the chocolate almond croissant and fruit tart are near perfection. The strong and delicious mimosas are a hit, and the standout customer service from a particular gentleman might just make you want to come back for more.
The bakery is run by an extremely classy gentleman named Paul, who deserves more business. The desserts are not too sweet, and the alcohol is reasonably priced. The location is great, and the pastries are wonderful, especially the chai latte, the raspberry tart, and the opera bastille, which some customers order for special occasions.
