Seapot Korean BBQ and Hotpot offers a fun and interactive dining experience, combining the best of both worlds—grilling meats and simmering hotpot. The variety of ingredients available was impressive, with fresh vegetables, quality meats, and flavorful broths to choose from. Everything was well-stocked, and the self-serve setup made it easy to customize the meal exactly how guests wanted. The food, including the wagyu beef, has been described as delicious, with meat dishes being a highlight. The restaurant’s atmosphere is lively, modern, and vibrant, making it a good place for group gatherings, though the loud Kpop music can make conversations difficult.
While the service was friendly and generally helpful, there were some issues. Customers noted that the server dumped the meat directly on the grill before they could cook it themselves, which affected the enjoyment of cooking their own meat. Additionally, the Monday special offering $4 off any sake was not clear, as hot sake did not qualify, leading to some confusion. Despite these minor setbacks, the staff was attentive and lovely, and the overall experience remained positive. The arrival of the Korean BBQ and hotpot combination might be overwhelming at first, but once understood, it offers a great experience. The fast, efficient servers and the lively environment add to the enjoyment.
The ice cream dessert, with its variety of flavors, was a nice finishing touch that added to the overall enjoyment. The restaurant’s setup includes claw machines and ice cream for kids, making it family-friendly. Prices are around $30 for hot pot or Korean BBQ, or $35 if choosing both, with everyone at the table required to have the same option. Seafood, including shrimp, comes randomly on a conveyor, and there is no sushi on the menu. Dessert choices are limited to gel-type options. The lounge and bar area are a nice place to wait before dining. Despite some room for improvement in service practices, Seapot remains a recommended destination for a fun and flavorful Korean BBQ and hotpot experience.
