Great food and fast, friendly service! The super taco was super!
service is slow. One lady stands behind the register not helping. Long wait on food to be served. Not the same since they sold out.
the waitress was rude. the cafe didn't have any milk. the cashier was also rude and said she couldn't trust us to tell here what we ordered oat meal was so dry. other food was not homemade. Not a good experience.

The Island Cafe is a small, cozy, friendly family restaurant considered a best-kept secret on the island, often full with locals. The menu has good breakfast options with delicious, amazing food all made from scratch. The portions are large and just right, leaving you full. Specific standout items include the fluffy omelettes, perfectly cooked crispy bacon, and really good hash browns that are totally different but delicious. The pancakes and French Toast are to die for and delicious. For a big appetite, the large open-faced breakfast tacos, like the regular taco and the Super Taco piled high with eggs, cheese, bacon, ham, sausage, and hash browns, come with a side of really good Ranchero sauce. The food is reasonably priced, good, hot, and fast. The staff is helpful, attentive, and friendly, providing excellent service. It is an absolute must try.
