Our favorite place to come hang out. its laid back, great fishing and the customer service is fantastic. the food is amazing I had the street tacos 2 days back to back. keep up the great work!
rented the 5th wheel which is literally right next to dump station. smell is horrendous! cant get into your vehicle without stepping in overflow of dump station. ac doesn't cool. neither did the refrigerator. TVs cut off when watching. grandkids weren't happy about that. inside RV smells of dead shrimp and mold. no linens of any sort. non working stove or oven. definitely not worth $155 per night and $50 cleaning fee. marina area is nice just don't rent the 5th wheel. definitely...read full review
First off there is no more night fishing. That was the best part of the pier. Also, you can't bring in your own bait. The price of $6.00 per pole is ridiculous too.

Indianola Fishing Marina, Bait Shop, Restaurant Bar & Grill in Port Lavaca offers a delicious red basket sandwich and a stunning view at the bar. The grilled and fried redfish dishes were tasty, with a slight preference for the grilled. The only downside was some indoor smoking, but the food and the view of dolphins playing made up for it. The vibe is perfect with great music, excellent service, and a variety of dishes like the redfish platter with shrimp, crab cake, hush puppies, and fries. Despite the slight overcooking of the fish, everything else was awesome, including the Shiner on tap and the friendly bartender/waitress. A very enjoyable dining experience worth returning to for more. Visitors can also enjoy the spectacular views and fishing, with the option to have their fresh caught fish cooked on site. The restaurant is family-friendly, with kids fishing on the back deck. The atmosphere is good, and the fishing is said to be pretty darn good, making it a great place to relax and enjoy Texas scenery and history.
