Stopped on a whim while passing through and I am glad we did. Pros: Great food, service and atmosphere. Cons: A little pricey at about $20 per person for a burger/fries/drink. Overall i recommend this place and would visit again.
Got the chicken fried steak, fries, salad. The salad was , eh, plain. No frills. CFS and fries were spot on. Clean grease. Yes, you can tell when grease is old. Service was good but it was on a weekend, slow times.
What began as an amazing experience & seemed like a true hidden gem I had discovered, soon soured at the end.
1st off - the building & decor were nice, good ambience.
2nd - Great service!… our waitress was very friendly & super helpful with my 20 month old daughter. One of a handful of places I’ve been where you actually felt like a guest & welcomed whole heartedly by the server.
